My 11 month old has enjoyed it from 9 months old. He loves the noises and enjoys chewing on the dumbells. My 3 year old loves to pretend play and copy mommy working out. The sweat band is so cute too. He is seven months and the size is perfect for him. He also enjoys the clacking of the dumbbell and this will entertain him for more than the average toy / distraction. The headband is good fun and he has no issue wearing it (albeit we would not take him out in it!!) - the only thing which he does not generally go for is the faux drink bottle shaker. This has not had enough about it to capture him. Lovely colours to attract their attention. The kettlebell is a little teether which rattles, perfect for their gums. The dumbbell is great for little hands, helping their fine motor skills. If I had friends who were gym lovers I would definitely consider buying this for them. I do however think the toy is lacking in substance. It is essentially three rattles and a headband and my 8 month old was bored of them very quickly. It would be good if there was some more sensory elements to them, lights or sounds or twisting parts.
