Sometimes it plays the same song over and over instead of cycling through the songs, or it shorts out. We love that this toy offers four different ways to engage and she can grow along with it! The mat is soft and cozy for my daughter to lay, sit and play on. We love the patterns and the animals theme. The music is catchy as well - I&rsquo;ve found myself humming along with the songs throughout the day. A great feature is that you can detach the piano, so my daughter can run around and play with the sounds and tunes all over the house! It can be enjoyed from the earliest days of tummy time through toddlerhood, when kids are walking around and exploring on their own. The mat includes a piano with adjustable positioning that allows for diverse play options. Infants who may not even be rolling over can kick the keys with their feet with the piano positioned up and down, while toddlers can sit at it and play in typical keyboard/piano position with the piano sitting flat. There are also multiple settings on the piano&mdash;it can play individual notes, complete songs or talk about colors, shapes and numbers. In addition to the piano, the mat includes a soft semicircular bar that overhangs the mat. A mirror and toys can hang from it to be enjoyed by babies who are sitting or laying on their backs. The bar can be removed or repositioned if desired. The mat also includes loops where the toys and mirror can be attached so babies can enjoy them during tummy time or while sitting. The loops on the mat and bar really add to the versatility of the mat, as the included toys can be removed and used elsewhere, or other toys can be clipped on and enjoyed with the mat. The included toys include crinkle sounds, bells, various textures and items that can grabbed and chewed&hellip;all appealing to a baby&rsquo;s senses of touch, hearing, and sight. While we received this toy when our baby was entering the toddler phase, and not just after birth, when he may have first enjoyed something of this nature, we are still getting plenty of use out of it. We also appreciate how easy it is to clean now that he is eating a variety of foods and is into everything.
