Very durable material and I loved the handle, which gave our child more control. She loves this teething cup! She likes to shake it and bang it and explore the different noises it makes. I love that it looks like a cup of coffee so that instead of trying to grab mine, she can have her own. I like that the shape is unique from the other rattles and teething toys that we have. My baby&rsquo;s favorite part is that she can bite it to help soothe her teething. It's different than the usual rattle, both in shape and weight. She loves the fact that it's bigger and she holds it with two hands like a big girl. It doesn't have an annoying rattling sound either. It's a muffled version of a usual rattle so even when she's playing with it in the early morning or late night, it doesn't bother me at all.
