The silicone shapes are great for their little fingers and don&rsquo;t hurt when they get thrown. It holds my 2 yr old attention for hours. It has easy to follow cut outs too to put it back together. Our little one is a tad older than the intended age, but he enjoyed naming the colors and shapes and well as stacking them as a tower or squeezing them since they are squishy. The colors were fun and provides opportunity to name them with your child. My son enjoyed the different textures of the puzzle pieces, and I would name the shapes as he placed them on the wooden puzzle board. The fantastic quality of all 5 pieces of this puzzle are what I have come to expect from the brand Fisher-Price! The size of the pieces were also great and can easily be taken with you for on the go. I also really like that the shape pieces are silicone because we all know teething littles love to stick things n their mouths. I love the fact its pieces are silicone so if he attempts to throw, it won&rsquo;t hurt. The pieces are big enough for him to understand. The three year old has been utilizing the pieces to shout colors and shapes. Because it is only four pieces, it doesn't keep either entertained for a long period of time but they do enjoy the puzzle and the one year old does enjoy putting the pieces in and out and holding them up to look at them before putting them back in their place.
