We have the same brand for our little girl and love it. My husband when putting the crib together discovered that a few pieces were damaged or scratched. For the price I wouldn't expect to have to deal with this. We do not use paint that contains lead on any of our products. Unfortunately we do not have a plastic teething rail available for these cribs. Due to the many different crib top rail designs it is probably best to use a fabric guard as a plastic one that was not designed for the crib specifically presents it&#39;s own safety hazards.
