We were extremely worried thinking we would need to make an ER trip because he is only 8 weeks. It caused us a lot of unnecessary stress and would have been very frustrating if we had gone to the ER to be told his temperature is fine.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Spent two nights in an childrens emergency hospital due to this thermometer. Temp read that the baby had a fever of 100.6 wen we got to the hospital it read that he was 98.6. they still had to admit us to make sure he was fine. Just reused to make sure thermometer is ok, it read the baby had a fever of 100.4 retook on a generic thermometer his temperature is 98.8.</span>

It allows me to take the temp twice 0- then when I go to take temp again it just shows me the old temperatures. It will not reset itself to take a new temperature? This is the worst thing for a first time mom who is worried - this product is awful and has given me unnecessary anxiety.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Literally came on here and was shocked to find other comments basically saying the same thing regarding how FAULTY this thermometer is. We were able to discover the discrepancy at the pediatricians office because his temp was reading 97.4 while the Frida one gave us 99.5 literally seconds later. SO glad we discovered this but omg the emotional turmoil we went through with our son being botherline ER trip eligible for almost 2 days. I feel for the parents that had unnecessary interventions done :( not fair. I will now always double check temperatures with different thermometers.</span>
