This car seat has been great and has had no severe issues besides the headrest sticking out. Which my daughter looked very uncomfortable and hated sitting in it, so I stuck padding behind her back so her head didn't lean forward so much. That seeded like a small issue but was a big complaint about all Graco carseats. Other than that, it has been a good sturdy car seat. I have some family and friends that own this model of car seat as well and they love it too but they have also stuck padding behind their children's back to help with the headrest problem. I ended up buying another model just like this one for my son this year. I am now a little sad that I did so because my daughter is being potty trained. She has had a couple accidents in her car seat and of course I have cleaned everything up immediately. She has recently had it another accident in her car seat a couple days ago. When we took the car seat out to clean it, yellow liquid dumped out of the base of the car seat. It spilt all over in our car and it took 2 days to get this smell out. We let it sit outside for a day to hopefully drain and an air dry. When I went out to check on it and lift it up, more liquid came out. I gently shook the car seat and I could hear liquid swishing around in the base. I ended up calling customer service to see if they could do anything about this issue because I have never heard anybody else having this issue. They confirmed that they have not heard anybody having this issue and they also said there is NOTHING they can do to help me with this problem. I am very sad that I had bought a second car seat from them, I will be either selling my son's car seat and buying a new car seat for my son and daughter that is a different brand. I am very very sad with Graco... Poor design.</span> <span itemprop="description">We purchased Graco 4Ever 4 in 1 based on recommendation. This is our first child seat, so I will not compare it to other brands or seats, only will point out the pros and cons of this particular seat. Pros: 1) easy to install. Whether rear facing or forward facing, it installs in two easy clicks, which makes it simple to transfer between vehicles. 2) simple to adjust, whether it is the height or the shoulder harness or the tilt of the seat, the adjustments are done with two simple to use handles. 3) quality materials - so far, no issues and we already washed the seat a number of times Cons: 1) design issue - the headrest for a newborn does not stay in place and always falls off. This makes it difficult to place a child into the seat when headrest does not stay where it is suppose to. This could have been fixed with a simple Velcro (which is what we used in the end). See photos. 2) heavy - if you are using more than one vehicle, it is not a light seat to carry from one vehicle to another. Overall, we would neither recommend, nor discourage anyone from purchasing this seat. It&rsquo;s a good seat for the right price, so if you get a great discount, buy it. Otherwise, shop around and if you can, try the seat out in the store. We didn&rsquo;t have any problems installing. I also like that the seat adjusts angles for our little one so he can be more reclined for longer trips. We have not yet had to take it apart to wash so I&rsquo;m not sure how easy that is to do. The car seat straps will not stay even no matter how many times I fix it one side is always too loose and one side is always too tight even after evening them out . And also today ( which I always ride in the backseat ) I went to test my baby&rsquo;s straps while we were driving (again) bc I get nervous and they were completely unloosened. They literally loosened on there own. My baby is only 7 months old so she certainly did not do it , and obviously I know I didn&rsquo;t . Now I&rsquo;m wicked scared to use the car seat in fear that if we ever got into an accident the straps would loosen, I mean if they loosen randomly on there own while driving for 0 reason then they would for sure during an accident. The 4ever 4in1 Car Seat does not have the capability to be attached to any of our strollers. The only car seats that have the option to connect with our strollers are the Click Connect/SnugRide Infant car seats. Because of their weight and grow-with-baby features, convertible car seats are not suited for strollers. This is why this seat doesn&#39;t feature the Click Connect base.
