The only thing that could be improved is the chest clip and the size of shoulder pads. Our baby is petite and the shoulder pads are too large. The chest clip seems flimsy.</span>

You can see the date of manufacture when you make a purchase at a local retailer, we put a sticker on the outside of the box that will give you this information. Thanks for reaching out! There is no way of knowing the date of manufacture for order placed online. The only way to ensure a newer date is to purchase in store where there is a white sticker on the outside of the box that has the model number and manufacture date. We hope this helps!
