This model was one atop various lists for safety testing results. Oh boy am I so glad we bought this car seat. My one year old was just involved in a car accident where another driver t-boned the side of the car she was sitting on. She came out of the incident unscathed and I know it&rsquo;s because of this car seat. Even before this, she had enjoyed the seat&rsquo;s ample room (even at 98% height), cup holders, and quality fabrics that are fairly easy to clean. I just purchased another one to replace the one involved in the accident. You can see the date of manufacture when you make a purchase at a local retailer, we put a sticker on the outside of the box that will give you this information.
