Above all this swaddle is incredibly easy to use. The fabric is also super soft and Halo has some very stylish colors and designs. As new parents everything is overwhelming, including making sure your newborn is wrapped up tightly and cozy. Using a regular blanket as a swaddle can be hard to utilize at first, and achieve what the baby needs. The Halo SleepSack Swaddle makes this a breeze. Our baby seems like she is at the perfect temperature, not too hot and not too cold. I found them hard to use and annoying to take on and off, so I just used muslin blankets and swaddled her myself. Fast forward to my second baby, I thought I would do the same- but he was a lot better at busting out of my wraps, and a lot more cranky about it, and I received this swaddle as part of the stellar panel review, so I decided to try this swaddle sack out! He really liked it. It kept him contained and happy, with longer stretches if sleep. I quickly ordered a second one so I could always have one clean! I love the graphic on the inside of the swaddle that shows options to keep one arm out during the transition to a sleep sack. I have used other Velcro swaddles that are not strong enough where my baby rips them open when fussing. That is not the case here! The Velcro is snug enough to hold his arms in. The Velcro wings were the perfect length where I didn&rsquo;t have to wrap around his back. The reason I only gave this review 4 stars is after only 2 washes, the fabric is starting to pill, as shown in the included photo. Additionally, I wish the length of the swaddle was a little longer. My son is 2 months old and in the 65th percentile for height, yet the swaddle is already too short for him in the 0-3 month newborn size. Overall, I love the design of this swaddle and will continue to use! I was very impressed by this swaddle. My baby has been able to wiggle out of the couple other blankets and swaddles I have tried, but this swaddle has kept him wrapped up snugly. I like the design of the swaddle. I appreciate being able to nurse my baby while he is zipped in the sleep sack, and then I just wrap him up the rest of the way when he is all done. My baby sleeps great in this swaddle. He seems to be very content and comfortable while he is sleeping. One of my favorite features of this swaddle is the &quot;ideal temp.&quot; I think it does a really good job of keeping him wrapped up and cozy without getting too warm or overheating. We have used halo sacks for both of our boys, and like the quality and ease of use. Our baby still got hot in the ideal temp (we live in Seattle and have AC, not even that warm inside or out) so I didn&rsquo;t find it much different than the other halos we own. I did like the material, it&rsquo;s thin, soft and stretchier than other ones we own. The Velcro is very strong our son was not able to break free, however if you don&rsquo;t perfectly line up the Velcro to cover it in the wash, a sock/shirt/bamboo clothes will stick to it and become pilly, know that part was my fault.
