I gave this to my grandson when he was a year old. He loves to follow it around. He sometimes like to take the controller and manipulate it but it puzzles him when the train moves when he presses the buttons. It was a lot of fun for him to chase when he was learning to walk and now he has fun working himself at almost 2. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is you have to have the controller unobstructed and close.
