<span itemprop="name">Don’t waste your money</span>
<span itemprop="description">Bought this camera thinking it would be great since it connects to your phone. It does not have a backup battery so if the power ever goes out it is useless. Last night it disconnected itself in the middle of the night. Screamed “setup” through the mic, waking my poor child, leading to him crying for 3 hours, since the monitor turned its self off we were none the wiser thinking he had slept great. Until we re set up the device to our horror got 100 notifications over the course of an hour showing that our baby did not sleep but was crying for 3 hours till he eventually cried him self to sleep. Do not waste your money on something that doesn’t even do it’s sole purpose.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Terrible. Video quality not great. Picture quality not great.. smile detection NEVER works and when it does which has happened 1 time its so blurry and just looks like pixels. The detection is great but it goes off every single time you walk in the room ..would be nice to be able to turn off detection of people you know. And the worst part of it all is the connection is so unreliable. We have tried it on multiple different internet connections and its horrible. Always loading there for not monitoring my child. The app also sucks to. Its good at detecting crying though...but even then the notifications don't go to my phone for sometimes 5 - 10 minutes AFTER my son has been crying. What good is that? Do not recommend this product at all.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Although I've had some technical issues (plug becoming loose that powers the device) and my internet bandwidth isnt quite there to make it seamless, this little camera does a lot more than everything out there for a much better price.
Due to my work, I sometimes have to leave for months at a time but this camera allows you to connect to it and view your child/childs room as well as communicate with them (maybe when they're older) via the microphone feature or play music through it. On top of that the pan, tilt AND night vision feature.
I recommend a robust internet service to get the best out of this (we currently have 20Mbps but are upgrading to 100 Mbps internet speed). We also have several wifi devices in use at home so it just makes sense overall.
On that note, you dont need to be in the wifi network to watch the video, as long as you have signed into the account or added another user.
Finally, customer service has been amazing. I've only had to talk with them twice regarding technical issues (temperature was displaying wrong, fixed by shutting down the app on my phone (literally using the stop app feature on phones) and restarting the app. Had tried everything else but they suggested that and i havent had an issue since. Secondly, the power plugin becoming loose or damaged internal to the camera (we hang it off a wall and the cord wraps around from the back and over the last several months it likely just wore out the plug since its just a usb plug).
The customer service representatives were both very polite and very quick to respond. Once i showed them the original cables and plug were still being used and that the damage wasnt due to trying to use other equipment (just sent photos, not requested but provided anyway) they immediately set up sending me another device. Its currently on the way and should arrive in a few days.
All n all, despite a couple technical set backs, their promptness, politeness and professionalism has warranted 5 stars.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This monitor has great picture, great sound and overall features (pan, tilt, movement detections etc) It is set up with an app on your phone and you can set up notifications to alert you when the baby moves, cries, just makes noises, all of the above etc. It's very customizable.
The down side is since it's an app on your phone,it can drain your battery. Another con is that if someone else wants to watch your baby you have to leave your phone with them..(there is suppose to be a feature where you can set up the app on multiple phones, for some reason that never seemed to work) If we could get the app on multiple Phones that would increase my overall rating for sure!!</span>
