We bought this rear seat in appletree for our Caboose Ultralight and unfortunately we could not get the snaps on the side handles to close. We bought a second one and had the same issue. We tried lots of pressure and pliers and if we did get the buttons to snap, it would pop back open with very light pressure. I contacted the Joovy team and Tony reached out immediately to me and provided advice and eventually sent us a new seat! The buttons snapped like regular buttons. We have taken this stroller to amusement parks or on walks and I really do feel like I found the perfect stroller. My older son sits in the front and will jump in and out of the seat and my younger one sits in the back. They both can recline and take naps. We will be taking a trip to Disneyland soon and wanted him to have a seat where he would be able to lay back against. But during our short trips to the store we are able to easily removed the seat and he is able to stand up- which is his favorite thing to do. Luckily I bought this extra seat that also reclines and was able to easily attach and boom instantly a double stroller that both girls were able to comfortably take a nap while at the park. this seriously was a life saver. The instructions were a little confusing at first because it had all stroller steps in one but once I figured it out it was actually really easy to install. I love that it's not permanent so with the extra seat being detachable I basically have 2 strollers in one.
