I was so excited to get this for my Toddler. It was easy to set up and he absolutely loves it! There are lots of great features including different music that plays and they can jam to. There's obviously the piano that they can create their own music. My guy loves the microphone and I find him yelling in it a lot! The little seat is perfect for him to be able to sit and play for long periods of time. It's great because it's up off the floor too. We have dogs and this keeps things from getting stepped on and he seems to enjoy the seat. This is a toy that will definitely grow with him, so I can see us using this for years to come! Compared to other music toys I really like all the different options for him to use and keep him busy longer. The microphone is great and I've never seen one on any other similar toys. And the seat is great to have. I highly recommend this to parents with music loving children! My little one started with a little lap pad type piano when born and loved it. This Little Tikes piano is a nice upgrade from the previous one. I love watching my little one dancing along to these new nursery rhymes as if nothing has changed. The interactive piano keys are a huge upgrade from the padded pressed keys previously. Even the play seat is interactive when you really bounce on it. The best part is the microphone that you can sing from. This piano is also designed with various play modes to choose from to make it faster or slower. Assembly was painless and the product seems sturdy and of good quality. Love that it&rsquo;s also easy to wipe and clean! The play seat operates separately and requires its own set of batteries independent of the piano. I didn&rsquo;t like that one required AAA batteries and the other AA. I really like the mobility of this toy and it&rsquo;s ease of use. I&rsquo;ve been using this toy with the legs off as a floor piano because I can tote it around the house easier. Apparently the seat wasn&rsquo;t as fun for my little one as much as the microphone and piano was. I was initially confused because the website description of this toy indicated it was intended for the age group of 2+ years. However, the product packaging indicates 3+ years. I think with the play seat, this toy is optimal for 3+ years, but otherwise the piano standalone works for those under 3 years. Overall, I love seeing my little ones exploring their artistic and creative side through this musical toy. The batteries will last forever if a hood brand is installed. The craftsmanship of this particular piano is surprisingly sturdy and I'm loving that because nomally little tikes are more of a softer plastic and do last a while HOWEVER, This @littletikes piano will definitely last for many years because they have just come a long way in general. The materials are better, the community involvement is overwhelmingly positive in most areas but is coming around big time if the consumers would give a chance on little tikes items. This piano is a hit for sure. I recommend thst you at least chance it for a holiday toy purchase. It's cute and he seems to like it, but I feel like it could be a bit better. There aren't that many song choices, which I've honestly seen other items like this that had more. I also feel like the seat doesn't work all that well. We expected it to work as my son moved on the seat, but it only seems to work if he lifts the seat and sets it down. The mic on the other hand, works great, my son seams to think it's meant to be used to press the keys. It was super easy to set up though. I mean, as long as my son is happy with it, I'm ok with it.
