She's played with it for hours each day since we got it. She carries it around the room so she can test it out in different locations, and plays on all of the modes. It's definitely toddler approved, and easy to switch between modes for little fingers. She needs zero help to play with this. Assembly was super quick. Literally just popping three pieces together and done. You do need batteries- AA and AAA, since the bench and piano take different batteries. There's a switch under the bench to turn it on, and the piano has a twist knob on top. There's a slide that switches between modes, and four buttons for the songs. The keyboard works as a standard keyboard on all modes, unless you use the song buttons. On mode one, the buttons play the song, and you use the keyboard to continue playing it. Mode two and three, the song plays and the keyboard keys make sounds that correspond to the song (two is without mike, three is with). These are my daughter's favorite settings. I was very excited when I pulled it out of the box and saw there was very little assembly required. It&rsquo;s always nice with impatient toddlers when a toy only takes a minute to assemble. They absolutely love it. Their favorite part is the interactive seat. They loved bouncing and turning on it to experiment and see how it changed the music. The mic was also fun for them. They love to sing and are always pretending toys are microphones but now they have their very own microphone. They spent the whole afternoon putting on a musical show for me and I predict they will spend many more days doing that. I like that the controls are simple and the bottoms are easy for little fingers to push. It&rsquo;s got plenty of fun features but isn&rsquo;t too complicated for them to figure out like some toys. Once this item arrived, like all kids do, they ran to the box. Once I opened it &amp; pulled out the toy, the went CRAZY! They play with this all day long and can never seem to get bored. And I&rsquo;m not exaggerating.
