You need to fold down a few pieces in order to get it nice and small, but super easy to compact and open up. Taking it on the plane in a few months but happy to have it for the travel. The laying back part is a little tough to put up if the baby is in the sitting area, so I would put it up first before putting baby in. Colour is nice, soft material, easy to push. Worth the money (a steal compared to other travel strollers). It gets the job done. The footprint is small and works for flights. It's super light and easy to carry. The leg room isn't great for a toddler as our lil guys legs were usually hanging off the sides, but considering how compact the build is, it makes sense. I also have the Summer Infant 3D lite plus stroller, but I saw the Lara on sale and thought I would like it more for travel especially since it folds up small enough to be a carry on. I was super disappointed in the Lara. The straps very difficult to adjust, the recline is so fiddly you can&rsquo;t do it one handed and definitely not when your baby is in there. The fold button was hard to push, and then it was hard to get the stroller to lock into place when unfolded. The back of the stroller is so flimsy especially up near where your baby&rsquo;s head is. The double basket is not really a cool feature as they are both so small and hard to access. The seat is not as deep and my 7 month old baby looked huge and uncomfortable in there. The Summer Infant stroller is not as good looking but the features on it are so easy to use that it makes it a superior stroller for half the price!!! Even if the fold is not as compact (gate checking a stroller is much more convenient than bringing it as a carry on anyway).
