This travel system offers a well-thought-out combination of a stroller, car seat and bassinet, making it a great companion for everyday use and travel. Pros One of the standout features of the Zelia Luxe is its compact fold, which is impressive considering its size. It folds easily with just one hand, making it ideal for busy parents who need quick and effortless storage. Despite its compact nature, the included large-size car seat fits well in smaller cars and compact SUVs, ensuring a snug yet practical fit for those with limited space. Our car is a Nissan Juke so it’s pretty small, yet we could fit the car seat comfortably behind the passenger seat and the folded stroller fits in our tiny trunk. The design considers comfort well. The shoulder straps on the car seat are softer and thinner than those on many other models while still providing a secure fit, ensuring comfort for the baby without compromising safety. The expandable canopy folds down low, which came in handy for protecting our little one from the icy coastal winter winds. For those who enjoy outdoor adventures, the wheels and all-terrain suspension perform impressively on trails, icy conditions, and even snow up to 10 cm deep (which we tested, with no clogging on the wheels!). Additionally, the included rain cover fits snugly over both the car seat and stroller, ensuring protection against wind, snow, and rain. Another major advantage is the included bassinet, which is particularly useful for long walks. A dedicated bassinet allows infants to lie completely flat, which is ideal for their spinal development. Lastly, the soft fabric covers are completely removable and washable, making cleaning much easier—a must for any baby gear! Cons While the Zelia Luxe has many advantages, it also has a few downsides. One noticeable drawback is the lack of an adjustable handlebar angle—only the length extends. This may be inconvenient for taller or shorter parents, but it is a small detail. Additionally, the level indicator on the car seat base is just a line sticker, which may not be as clear or dependable as the bubble indicators found in other models. Another minor inconvenience is that the bassinet lacks a clip to keep it folded flat, making storage slightly less secure. Final Verdict The Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System is an excellent choice for parents who value ease of use, comfort, and versatility. It excels in portability, weather protection, and terrain handling while offering thoughtful features like a well-fitting rain cover and a cosy bassinet. Although the lack of an adjustable handlebar and a more advanced level indicator may be a slight inconvenience, they don’t take away from the system’s overall practicality. If you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use travel system with great value, this is one to consider.
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 4 out of 5 by TorontoMamaOnTheMove from Great Value for the Money [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little background on me, I'm a Toronto mama of 2. A 3.5 year old girl, and a 3.5 month old little boy. We are a very active family always out and about and our little guy is often in the stroller! After having this travel system for a few weeks I have grown fond of it for the most part, with a few minor issues but nothing major. Let's start with the good, I love the size of the stroller, it's large and sturdy but doesn't weigh too much. Making it easy to control on all terrains, indoors and out, I found the maneuverability comparable to my other very popular stroller system. I also liked the space between the seat and the handle as I will likely be purchasing the scooter seat for my daughter to join us with this stroller, it doesn't feel like I would be kicking the scooter seat! The under basket is good for holding smaller things but can be difficult to get larger items in due to the stroller frame. I found it useful for small grocery runs and holding our diaper bag. The over design of the stroller is visually appealing and to me that does mean a lot. With the seat; the design of having the bassinet turn into the toddler seat in theory is great, and I appreciate it for the space saving in terms of storing things...but it was a bit convoluted to change from bassinet to toddler chair. My 3 year old did like the seat though, although she was a little tall she still enjoyed the ride! All in all for the budget the stroller is amazing and better than I expected. The stroller was quick to assemble out of the box; and we found Maxi Cosi's YouTube channel quite helpful for learning how to fold it and convert the bassinet to the toddler chair. For the car seat I really liked the handle; it's got a more ergonomic handle than my old car seat and as someone with long arms I appreciate it. Over all the car seat was just ok for us, I really think a rethread harness should be standard as having to take the straps completely out to move up an inch takes a lot of time. Especially when it just seems my little one grows over night (really it's not often but seems to come on a day where I'm rushing so I can get over it!) I did really appreciate the expandable canopy on both of the car seat as well as the stroller specifically! My little guy is always napping on the go having a big sister to tag along with and this gives added protection from the elements which we love. To summarize; Pros - price can't be beat - large sturdy stroller - expandable canopy - soft fabrics - light weight for the size - one stop shop for stroller and car seat - Car seat can easily be secured without the base (think taxi/Uber) - can purchase the scooter board for older kids - comes with the foot muff for cooler days! - comes with the cup holder - comes with the rain cover Cons - No rethread harness on the carseat - to use the car seat on the stroller you need the attachments (It comes with them, just don't misplace them!) Over all I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. And totally recommend this travel system to my friends and family!
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kruss from First Impression is WOW [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unpacking the box I was amazed that is actually came with everything- stroller, car seat, adaptors, and the bassinet which seamlessly transitions to the seat…The cup holder and rain cover were even an added bonus! I am a mom to six children under seven, so grabbing the kids, baby in car seat and stroller (plus all the snacks!), needs to be quick and easy for me! The Maxi-Cosi, Next Generation Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System is EXACTLY what I needed. This travel system would also be a joy for any new mom to bring her brand new babe home to. Did I mention the storage basket is huge, so helpful! First glance it’s visually very pleasing. The look and feel with the leather handle makes it stylish and comfortable! The adaptors click in and out with minimal effort. Folding this stroller couldn’t be easier and once folded it lays flat and is compact. Not too heavy or bulky. The all terrain tires can manage snow, gravel and take the bumps with no trouble at all. The fact that you’re able to lock the front wheels in and out of swivel is a wonderful add! The car seat gets two thumbs up for comfort and safety with extra padded inserts. The only downfall to this car seat was the height adjustment, it has to be done manually by removing the straps from the back and rethreading. I absolutely loved that this stroller has the lay flat option for the seat and the recline was much appreciated by my sleeping baby. All in all there are so many pros to this travel system, I could go on and on. I’ve had several strollers but this one is the ONLY one that checks all of my boxes.
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carr from Overall Great Travel System [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thoroughly impressed by the durability, comfort, and convenience of this travel system! My baby was very comfortable in both the stroller and car seat, including when taking him in and out. Pros: The travel system was relatively straightforward to assemble and compactly folds up when on the go. The material of the car seat and stroller seat is soft and padded, making it a smooth and comfortable ride. I really like that the seat transitions from bassinet to a toddler seat and is both forward and rear facing, providing a lot of versatility and value to the system. The large wheels manoeuvre through slush and snow with ease and the all-terrain suspension makes for a smooth ride. The storage space under the seat is great, as are the cup holder and rain shield (which is a bonus since you often have to buy those items separately for other travel systems). Further, the expandable canopy and ventilation pockets provide great coverage and air flow, especially on hot and sunny days. Cons: While there are many features that make this a convenient travel system, I found that making adjustments to the straps and seating positions were not intuitive or simple, and required time to get right - which is especially challenging on the go. Further, the adapters that are required to use the car seat on the stroller are bulky and an added piece you need to remember and carry with you that make the transition between the two seats a bit less seamless. Also, removing the car seat from the stroller requires a two handed approach that makes removing and lifting the car seat simultaneously a challenge. Overall, I am happy with this travel system- it’s sturdy, stylish, and has nice design accents. I look forward to continue using it with my baby (and eventually toddler!).
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 4 out of 5 by TungB from Luxurious and Pleasant with Room for Improvement [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As we welcomed our first baby recently, a stroller system is one of the first items on our list. After using the Next Generation Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System with my infant for a few weeks, I’ve identified several pros and cons: Pros: -Stylish and eye-catching: This is one of the most beautiful stroller systems we've ever seen or used. -Smooth ride and easy maneuverability: Thanks to its large wheels and all-terrain suspension, the stroller glides effortlessly over different surfaces—even deep snow. -Premium-quality fabrics: The materials feel luxurious and comfortable, and it’s clear how much my baby enjoys his seat. (And he’s quite picky!) -Good ventilation: Both the car seat and bassinet include ventilation features that help keep the baby cool and comfortable. Cons: -Steep learning curve: New users, especially first-time parents, may find this system challenging to set up and use. The instructions can be frustrating if you're unfamiliar with similar products. It took me a few hours to learn how to use all the features properly. -Basket accessibility issue: The long bar at the bottom, designed to assist with folding, also obstructs access to the storage basket, making it harder to place items inside. -Inconvenient car seat adapters: The stroller requires two separate car seat adapters, which I find a bit cumbersome. Every time I switch from the car seat to the bassinet, I have to remove/reinstall the adapters. Final Thoughts: Overall, this is an impressive travel system with some room for improvement. Experienced parents may find the cons easy to overlook and will likely enjoy using this stroller.
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 5 out of 5 by ReviewDrew from Maxi value and quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time parent and I think new parents would really appreciate this travel system because you don’t have to worry about whether or not the stroller is compatible with the car seat or which of each to get. Its sheds all the time and stress from big purchases since it's a rather affordable system of high quality and luxury. There's great value here you don't get from super high end systems but you don't loose any luxury feel. I love the little things like the leather grip and oversized quality wheels. The wheels are amazing it handles bumps like a champ and you could even run with it on a track. It also has a rain cover and water bottle holder included that other brands would make you pay extra for. The bassinet is not the widest or deepest which has its pros and cons. I like that it makes it more maneuverable but have concerns that the cold wind could get in during the winter months but again this system really excels in summer where other more expensive systems would struggle to compete. The infant car seat is super light weight compared to other high end ones I've tried. Your arms get tired quickly so every ounce counts. I do wish it was easier to install the car seat with rigid latches and I wish it had a load leg for added safety but that would really up the cost and if you don’t plan to move the car seat from different cars this isn’t too big of a deal. It's not that hard to setup. I do love that I can transfer my little one from the house and into the car without taking him out of the car seat because the base stays in the car. As a parent with a newborn during the winter months this is the most important feature. This car seat shines in speed and reliability. It also latches into the stroller easily. No constant fiddling of the latches to line it up just perfect and that is probably because they are meant to go together. All in all you get all the bells and whistles locking castor's big wheels tons of accessories, luxury feel and all without breaking the bank. You can't go wrong it's an easy choice
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ashten from Great stroller with many convenient features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this travel system from in the stylish New Hope Black. The set up was easy with minimal steps. I love how novel this stroller is with the ability to convert the seat into a bassinet easily with a few strap adjustments. This made it easy for naps on the go with the FLAT recline and the extendable canopy. Plus, it is a space saver for storing/transporting it. Our old stroller had a separate bassinet and seat which took up ++space and we would sacrifice bringing the seat or bassinet because they both didn’t fit in the vehicle. Great to cut down items required for travel! I was worried about the stroller wheels initially from previous model reviews but this new system doesn’t seem to have that issue. It is super easy to maneuver especially since I can choose to swivel the front wheels or not based on the activity. I chose not to swivel in the snow. The suspension and large wheels were smooth on all terrains that I strolled on including mall tile, concrete, gravel and nature paths covered in snow. My little one slept and didn’t seem to feel the bumps or curbs. I like that the rubber tire design means no worries about a flat tire or having to add air. This may sound funny but I found this stroller easier to push than other models I’ve used. I can’t quite put my finger on why - maybe because the frame is light and has less drag but I feel less tired after an outing. The infant car seat is light, comfortable with the inserts and easy to carry. You do need to use adapters for the car seat on the stroller but these come with the system and the seat pops on and off easily. I found the seat to be secure on the base and was easy to remove. The car seat base installation was easy with the anchors but great to have the option to use anchors or seat belt. I also like that I don’t have to “worry” about the weight and height limitations since they are high enough that I have time to think about a convertible car seat yet. The stroller fabric is easy to clean despite being soft. We experienced this first hand after my toddler spilled a yogurt drink. We need to get a snack tray… I LOVE that it comes with a cup holder, foot cover and rain shield. These are not added expenses. I appreciate that this stroller seat has the option to move the harness straps as your child grows (up to 50lbs!!). This takes a few minutes to do. I can’t wait until the ride on board shown is available so I can use the stroller with my children at the same time. I was sad when I reached to Maxi Cosi and they told me they don’t have it. The stroller basket is large but does have a weight capacity of 10lbs which I accidentally went over with no issue. I had to watch an online video on how to fold the stroller seat in half to complete the one hand fold because the instructions were not clear for this but it’s super simple. The one hand fold has been awesome especially when packing up and my other arm is full (usually holding a child I can’t put down). The frame is light enough to pick up one handed as well especially with the fold bar. It makes no sense to me when strollers give an option to fold with one hand but you need two hands to pick it up. Overall, a stylish, comfortable and safe travel system with a long-list of convenient features!
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 5 out of 5 by KC84 from Pretty Good Experience with Zelia Luxe 5 in 1 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stroller itself was very simple to assemble. We tried assembling it without the instructions at first, wheels clicked into place and the release locks were exactly where one would expect them to be. After assembling we did go back to the manual to confirm it was assembled accurately. Mind you I've had experience with another stroller before with my first child, but the design does feel very intuitive in my opinion. We were sent a green stroller with a brown leather handle, which looks great! The fabric and cushion are comfortable and soft as well. The frame was also nice and slim looking, and not too bulky like our old stroller. One notable feature we like is the height of the car seat, once attached to the stroller. Our previous travel system, once the car seat is attached, would have our newborn at below waist level. With the Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 however, our baby is at least waist level, about 6 to 8 inches higher than the old stroller. While that doesn't seem like much, and though we'll still have to bend over a bit to tend to our little one, it just feels nice to be closer to your baby. Having them within reach and being able to watch their curious face looking around while pushing them along in the stroller. It is definitely a plus! The maneuverability of the stroller is nice and smooth, no complaints there. Light enough to be pushed as well as unfold with one hand, which is great when you're carrying your child or a diaper bag. Being winter, our first trip out with the travel system was to a grocery store, where the stroller was able to navigate some tight corners and narrow aisles fairly easily and smoothly. It also folds up in such a way that it can stand on its own which is nice. Once folded, we found it had a lower profile than our last stroller, probably due in part to the slimmer frame, which helps when tucking it into the packed trunk of your car that's already filled with other baby items. Our second child isn't old enough yet for the carriage mode, but one feature we're excited about is the bumper attachment which our old travel system did not have. Not that we were pushing our first born through crowds of people where a bunch of handbags and such were just inches from his face, but it's still nice to have little safety features like that. Other add-ons included is a rain cover, which is a nice touch, and a canopy which feels nice and rigid, holding in place when unfolded. A couple things we did notice was that the infant head support cushion (which with our previous car seat, stays in place, with the shoulder straps threading through holes in the cushion) sits fairly loose behind the baby, and can be easily lifted or fall out of place due to the design of the cushion. It is held in place with the straps sitting on an open rib if that makes sense. Because the cushion and the "rib" isn't rigid, if you were to lift up the cushion, it'll just slide away from the straps. My wife likes it as she feels it is easier for her to reposition, but I like things to stay in place to avoid losing them, but to each their own. Another thing I noticed after removing our baby one time, was that the splitter plate behind the car seat, released one of the harness straps. It seems a little loose. However, comparing with the design of our older car seat, it looked similar in the way the splitter plate and straps are attached, so I'm not sure why it fell apart, so hopefully it is just a one time thing. It only fell apart after loosening the straps, so it's not too concerning, as once it's tightened it would be secured. Overall, compared to our older travel system, this system is very comparable, but what really sets it apart is the height, the ability to stand on its own when folded, and the slightly lower profile when storing in the trunk. We would not hesitate to recommend this travel system to friends and family.
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mthunt from Impressive Ability and Excellent Value [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this stroller. I have owned several strollers of varying sizes/price points/capabilities, and the Zelia receives top ratings from me. Firstly, setup was a breeze. Easy to assemble and very user-friendly in operating. I absolutely loved that the bassinet converts directly to the toddler seat, so I don’t have to store an extra bulky piece when it’s not in-use. The padding was thick and comfortable for my child. I was impressed that the system also comes with the snow muff and rain cover included. The mico car seat is solid and sturdy, while still easy to use and carry with one arm. I found the stroller simple to convert/detach the different pieces. I had no issue with the wheels or suspension, and was able to maneuver easily through tight spaces (door ways) and on various terrain. The expandable canopy on the toddler seat was handy. The car seat also has an expanded canopy, but I noticed it doesn’t fold back completely so I do wonder if my (very tall) babies would end up needing the canopy removed as they grow taller. The only note I had on this stroller was that you NEED to remember to bring the adapters for using the car seat with the stroller, which would be very frustrating to accidentally forget. The toddler seat that is also a bassinet and not an additional piece you need to store is amazing. Especially when they are matching in colour, and the fabric feels nice and durable. The black frame of this stroller really gives it a more luxury look especially with the brown leather handles. It gets extra points for being easy to fold up with one hand!! It was super easy to set up with no small parts which can be a choking hazard especially if you also have a toddler like we do. I love how modern the design and how soft the fabric feels, my baby loved being in the car seat especially with the added head rest inside, her head wasn't falling down while driving in the vehicle which was a huge plus. My favourite feature in the car seat would be the expandable canopy, I can't rave about this enough. With our previous car seat, we had to get sunshades on the windows to help block out the sun but this is so amazing that it comes all the way down so you don't have to worry about the sun getting into their eyes. I love the stroller and all train suspension system, it makes the ride so much smoother especially when it snows, you don't have the tires getting stuck. I also love the bassinet attachment as it's so convenient for when your baby sleeps. The only issue I had which is why I took one star off my review for now is the fact that when you're using only the car seat with the stroller, you need to use the car seat attachments every time and remove them when you collapse the stroller which can be a bit of an inconvenience especially in the Canadian winter but overall this has been an amazing travel system to have. I'd definitely be recommending this travel system to all of my friends.
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 4 out of 5 by KA03 from A great travel system [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the chance to try the Maxi-Cosi Next Generation Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System and I was seriously impressed! Right away, I loved the sleek, modern design. It looks stylish and feels high-end with its soft, luxe fabrics. Pushing it around was effortless. Comfort-wise, the plush fabrics and expandable canopy kept my baby cozy and well-protected, which I really appreciated. But what stood out the most was the one-hand fold which was a lifesaver for quick trips. The only downside was having to remove and reattach the car seat adapters each time I switched between the car seat and stroller seat. It added an extra step, but considering the overall design and functionality, it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, this travel system is stylish, practical, and easy to use. It is a great choice for parents who want both function and convenience!
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 5 out of 5 by CanadianMama from My favourite on the go stroller system [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a stylish, functional and well made all in one stroller, look no further then the Maxi-Cosi Next Generation Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System. From top to bottom this sleek stroller has quickly become a favourite of mine for being on-the-go with a 7 month old. The frame has an easily adjustable handle for those who are taller or have taller partners. My husband is 6’3” and was thrilled he could comfortably adjust the handle for his comfort on walks. I also love the easy fold on this stroller and the added handle for easy carrying. No pinched fingers folding it down and it stands beautifully on its own when collapsed. I have the stroller in the New Hope tan and was hesitant about stains and dirt, however, the fabric is very durable and wipes down well with a wet cloth. The car seat and interchangeable bassinet/seat are both very well designed with padded comfort for baby. The bassinet was so handy for walks with baby and as she is now bigger I love the full recline on the seat for when we fall asleep on a walk. The Max Shade canopy on the seat is also very generous with an added zip-extend panel. This serves us well to block the sun for a nice on-the-go nap with a handy peekaboo window for me to keep an eye on my little. The car seat canopy on the Mico Luxe is also very big which is so nice to see - in my experience the car seat canopies are often lacking in functional shade for baby. Additionally the light weight frame, large storage basket and smooth drive make me excited to take this stroller on family vacations. Napping on the go has been so easy with the Zelia Luxe and that is what every parent needs for their baby while travelling! My only con with this system is that you have to use the included car seat adapters when using the car seat in the stroller frame. If a future generation of this system is able to seamlessly switch between the car seat and the bassinet/child seat then I would have zero complaints. I cannot finish this review without mentioning that Maxi-Cosi is amazing in providing accessories INCLUDED WITH THE SYSTEM! No need to purchase a cup holder, rain cover, car seat adapters or stroller muff separate - they all come in the box! THANK YOU for saving all the parents a headache.
Date published: 2025-02-13

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyDad2025 from Stylish Smooth and Super Convenient [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Next Generation Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Travel System! Buying car seats and strollers isn’t the easiest decision because you want to make sure you’re getting the best gear for your baby—and potentially for your next baby, too. That’s why it was so important for me to pick the right travel system, and I’m so glad I chose this one. Not only do I get a lot of compliments on how stylish this travel system looks, but its functionality is also top-notch. The car seat and stroller are both incredibly comfortable for my baby, and everything is so easy to use and fold. It’s a breeze to pack it up and store it in the car. The ride is super smooth, which I absolutely love—it makes walks and errands so much more enjoyable.
