Work as intended, but a bit finicky
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with these breast milk collection shells. The shells were fairly comfortable to wear, provided the bra you wear with them is not too loose (otherwise they will slip out of place). The material is smooth and comfortable against the skin, and they are not too obvious under a loose-fitting t-shirt or sweater. I think they would be excellent for the early days of breastfeeding, especially if you have sore nipples because they would prevent clothing from rubbing against them. One finicky part is the spouts. They work well for decanting the collected milk, but because they are just open slits you must be very careful about how the shells are placed to avoid leakage. This is generally fine during the day, but not ideal if you’re grabbing them from the nightstand to prevent leaks while feeding overnight and can’t see how you’re placing them. These shells do not suction on at all, so work purely as collectors, which could be useful if you’re working to prevent oversupply. In general, they work well for their intended purpose, but may be a bit finicky for some people.

Great! (But don’t forget it’s there!)
This works really great and is definitely the most discrete shell I’ve used. It’s not bulky and it’s a great, natural shape that doesn’t look too conspicuous in your bra. The only issue I had was that it does tend to spill if you move with it on. I used it while breastfeeding and then when it was time to place my baby in her crib, the movement of slightly bending over made the milk pour inside her crib! So I would say only use if you’re pumping or breastfeeding and then remove it so you aren’t walking around with it! Otherwise, a great product and I would recommend.

Great breastfeeding aid!
Thank you to Stellar Product Testing for providing these Medela milk collection shells! The shells were very comfortable to wear and not noticeable when on, which is great. They are very easy to take apart to clean and the spout made it simple to pour the milk collected into a bottle. I don’t suffer from much leakage, but was able to catch what I did, which is a win. They also worked great to self express milk into while I nursed on the other side. I would definitely recommend these, I’m nursing my 5th baby and wish I would have had these with my others!

Milk collection shells
I received the Medela Breast
Milk Collection Shells from stellar for my honest review. I definitely enjoyed them, although I found with fast movement or bending down they leaked a little, the breast shells are quite comfortable. I was happy I don’t have to worry about disposable breast shields anymore things to the medela shells. I wish the poor holes were smaller or had a way of protecting your milk from falling with fast movement or bending. I find extremely comfortable, very discreet. I could wear them on the go. I also found the milk collection shields were extremely easy to put together and clean. I’m definitely happy with them and the outcome of them. I believe my only concern is the fact they leaked from time to time.

Great Option for Leaks or Collection
I was given this breastfeeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been looking for a more eco-friendly solution to disposable pads. When I tried the Medela collection shells my first impression was how truly comfortable they were to wear (I really couldn't feel them at all). The shells very effective while I was feeding, pumping or just leaking. The pour spout is easy to use (just make sure to point them up when wearing them!). I especially love that they are reusable and discrete. They are a great product and would definitely recommend, wish they existed for my first and second babies.

A Versatile Breastfeeding Accessory
I love my Medela Breast Milk Collection Shells! For the first three months postpartum, I was an overproducer. I only used regular nursing pads and I lost a lot of milk via leakage — on the opposite side anytime my baby would nurse, while sleeping, and even randomly throughout the day. Once I started using my Medela shells, that stopped and I could finally stop doing extra laundry!
I appreciate the design and practical size of the shells — not too bulky but big enough to collect enough milk to make it worthwhile. They are also easy to use and fit nicely inside my bra. They are mostly discrete but slightly noticeable if you wear tight shirts, which isn't a big deal to me as I mostly use them at home. I find them especially useful when my baby is sick and not nursing as much, so I leak lots and lots. Pouring milk out is fairly easy but I did spill a little the first few times I tried overnight in the dark. I don't bottle feed but I've been saving the milk for emergencies and to use in my baby's oatmeal once we start solids.
The best feature for me was actually pain relief. Breastfeeding is hard and the first month can be downright painful. I had sore, bleeding nipples and every latch was agony. These shells prevented chafing and further irritation and finally allowed my nipples to fully heal. Now I am pain free and breastfeeding is going great! This is my second child and I wish I had these the first time around when I struggled with breastfeeding so much.
The only downsides? If you are a tummy sleeper, these are hard plastic so they are not the most comfortable option. They can also leave marks on your skin if you wear them a lot. I also found the plastic corners of the opening a bit sharp.

Game changer product for breastfeeding moms!
These collection shells have quickly become one of my most used and loved baby products! I was previously using a suction pump of a different brand, but I’ve found these so much more convenient to just tuck in and not have to worry about them getting kicked off or falling off. I typically wear one shell while nursing on the other breast, or sometimes I’ll use both simultaneously to catch milk leakage. They have completely eliminated leakage for me.
The shells are comfortable and sturdy. I love that they are also very quick to clean because let’s face it, new moms do a lot of washing!
Transporting the milk from the shells to a bottle is straightforward and simple. Although, I try to be mindful that they don’t get too full because then I find it’s a bit more difficult to remove them without spilling any milk out of the spout at the top. They also easily pour into bags.
Overall, I love that they eliminate leakage and are a great way to build up a small freezer supply of milk without having to pump. They are very comfortable and slide easily into my nursing bra so I can wear them anytime and anywhere.

A leak-free must have for any new Mom.
Wish I had discovered these sooner! Super comfy, discreet and practical. I started using the medela cups around 2.5 months into breastfeeding and I wish I had them for the messier, early weeks of engorgement and leaky boobs.
After receiving this breastfeeding accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel I’ve barely wasted a drop of milk by making sure I have one in my bra on the opposite side of the boob I’m pumping/feeding from. The 10-20mls I catch is super easy to pour into what’s been pumped (and with a hungry baby every ml counts!)
Removing and pouring the collected milk without spillage does take a little bit of practice and concentration, as the more you collect the trickier it is to manoeuvre. Plus you need to make sure you’re not bending forward too much - something I learned when putting my baby into their crib after they fell asleep on the other boob! But you soon get used to it and the pros far outweigh any cons.
I love that the cups are super comfortable and discreet - my little one can’t kick it off my boob, and I’ve even forgotten I’m wearing them because the silicone cap is so soft and flexible! I have also discreetly slipped them into my bra at the mall when I’ve been worried an early letdown is coming on.
Cleaning is easy too, as the design is simple yet effective. The instructions say to boil them to sterilise, but doesn’t mention the microwave option with the medela bags. If they can be sterilised in the microwave that would really be the cherry on top!
All in all a must-have for any new mom!

Saves precious breastmilk
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breastfeeding accessory.
For collections shells these were not bad at all. These shells definitely minimized leakage and helped me save extra breastmilk. We all know how precious breastmilk is.
I like the material of these collections shells where it touches the skin. It is soft and gentle. They are flexible and comfortable that at times I forget they are there!
I think these shells are somewhat noticeable, especially if I only had one on. I felt comfortable wearing them in my home only.
Transporting the milk from the shells to the bottle took me a few practices to learn how to pour because if I poured too slow the milk runs down the shells and if I poured too fast the milk overflows the spout.
Cleaning the shells is simple and easy.
My favourite feature of the shells are how soft the part is that touches the skin.
Overall I recommend these collection shells.

If you leak, you need this
I was given this breastfeeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I had no idea milk collection shields existed, I had always used the pads that came with my nursing bra, a silicone manual pump or disposable nursing pads. The pads that came with my nursing bra were a hassle to maintain and keep clean. Somehow, they never made it out of a wash cycle and disappeared just like socks; I got tired of looking for them. The silicone pump was my second alternative to the pads but that didn't work because my baby kept kicking it off or sometimes it would lose suction and all the milk I had collected would spill on me which was such a waste and quite annoying. The disposable nursing pads were not environmentally friendly and I just didn't want to buy them, so I would nurse and leak on my bra which usually left white stains. This was quite frustrating and I dreaded nursing my baby. As soon as I feel the letdown while nursing, I would dread the inevitable cold sensation of milk leaking down the other breast. That was until I was sent these shields. When I got them in the mail, it was like a switch flipped, I could have gotten this all along! I just had no idea they existed.
I use them daily, at every nursing session. The pack contains two so I alternate between each one. It has a spout to pour out the collected milk which I love. You just always have to remember to place the spout facing upwards so the milk doesn't dribble down your body, (it happened to me several times). I love how small and portable it is, it's so portable, it doesn't interfere with my nursing sessions. It's pretty comfortable and not noticeable under the bra, so I could wear it the entire day and nobody notices it. The collection cup is so comfortable, I forgot to remove it and wore it to a house showing. It was only when I got home 5 hours later, and tried to nurse my baby, I touched the plastic and realized it was there. After pouring the milk from the spout, it's very easy to clean and sanitize. Also, I usually nurse my baby in a side lying or reclining position and never had issues with the shells leaking.
If you experience issues with leaking during nursing or pumping, get this, you won't regret it. It gets the job done

great product
These collection cups are the best I have tried so far. They are easy to use while breastfeeding from one side to catch the letdown. I really liked that they fit inside my bra which made feeding easier. Each shield can catch about 1 oz. Really easy to clean and reassemble. A side benefit to these cups is that you can give your nipples some air between feeds without walking around topless. They are better than cups that can be kicked by a feeding baby or breast pads which don’t collect the milk.
I took off a star as I did have a lot of leaks. They are hard to take off without spilling some and carrying them to a container to store the milk if they are very full; which for me is most mornings.

Great concept
I used these between pumping sessions to catch excess milk. Overall, they are a handy breastfeeding accessory and I imagine that they are helpful for anyone who uses nipple pads or is prone to some leakage. They're great to catch and save milk that would otherwise be wasted. You don't need to remove the silicone piece after catching any milk, as there is a spout that can be used to pour it into a bottle before dismantling the shells. I was really impressed by that feature.
I am a 34 C in bra size, and I find that they aren't obvious when tucked into a bra or nursing tank. The silicone is also soft and comfortable as long as the bra fits well and doesn't apply too much pressure. As someone who pumps exclusively, I'd say these are worth it.

I was given this breastfeeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited to try these because as a breastfeeding mama I'm always looking for ways to help the process. Firstly, I enjoyed that these holders are see-through and of good size however because I am a larger chested woman It was difficult for them to not be noticeable if I wore them in public. Secondly, I do love the feel of the silicone against my chest, but because the outer shell is so smooth it made it very easy to drop it while I was trying to pour the milk into the bag. Unfortunately I did lose milk a few times. If someone was a smaller chest and had a firmer grip these would be great to utilize during nursing. They help catch any extra drops either during a nursing session or if you can't nurse or pump for awhile. Overall these would be a great tool to utilize if you want to save the milk and not spoil it.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breastfeeding accessory. As a second time mama these shells are a necessity, I wish they had been around with my first baby. They are a super comfortable soft silicone with plastic on the outside, most times I forget I'm even wearing them. They are so handy when breastfeeding to collect the otherwise wasted milk, plus avoids the dreaded soggy shirt. They are super easy to empty out the collected milk through the top spout into a milk bag or container. I like to save mine for upcoming milk baths! Highly recommended this product to any mama!! The shells are quite discreet, I have no problem wearing them when I go out, I prefer these over the breastfeeding pads. My favourite part about these shells though is how easy to are to clean which is essential for a new mother, I just rinse out then store in the fridge until the next feed and at the end of the day wash with some soapy water or they can even go in the dishwasher which is fantastic! Only con I have found is they cannot comfortably be used laying down/sleeping as there will be leakage.

I was given this breastfeeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. There are Pros and Cons to the Breast Milk Collection Shells, mostly pros. Pros: They were super comfortable on the breast, even when engorged. They fit right into your bra/tank top. When sitting up the shells did there job and caught all leakage. It was quite easy to take them out of the bra and pour the caught milk into a bottle. I love how easy they are to use.
Cons: They aren't ideal to use while in bed/lying down, as there is no suction, so milk can leak out.

Very discreet!
I was given this breastfeeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
These collection shells are quite discreet. As you can see in my photo, it’s quite hard to tell that I’m wearing collection cups! When wearing a tighter shirt, or a nursing tank top, they are a little bit more noticeable; overall, quite discreet and easy to hide.
They were helpful for milk collection while out if needed, however, times when I need them the most (such as during night feeds), I was not able to use them as a nursing bra is required. Would be great if they had some sort of suction. The collection cups also have a hole at the top for pouring out the milk. The hole makes it convenient for pouring into a bottle of bag after use, however, it would be nice if they had some kind of cap or covering while using them to avoid any spillage!
These collection cups are quite comfortable for a short period of time. I found they got a slightly uncomfortable after about 40 minutes and I found it left red marks on my skin.
Dishwasher friendly is also a huge plus!
Overall, the Medela Collection Cups are discreet, but not the most ideal for everyday use.

Almost perfect - with one minor design challenge
The Medela Breast Milk Collection Shells are an excellent solution for leaks between pumps and feeds - and they’d be perfect if the pour holes weren’t open at all times.
I received the collection shells through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was really excited to try them out - before the shells, I was using simple cotton pads in my nursing bra. Not only did they get saturated quickly, but all of the milk was wasted! The Medela shells were just as easy to use, and allowed me to begin collecting that milk instead. We have newborn twins, so every drop counts!
The shells were easy to sanitize before first use, and are so easy to clean and dry, because they come apart in two pieces to allow cleaning of every crease.
The one thing that could be improved is the pour holes at the top of each shell. They make pouring collected milk for storage simple, but the flip side is that they don’t have a stopper, so milk can pour out if you happen to bend over or position yourself the wrong way. If you’re using these while doing chores or running errands, you might accidentally spill some milk on yourself. It’s easy enough to avoid this when you’re paying attention, but if you’re distracted (and what new mom isn’t?), accidents can happen!
I’ll be purchasing another set for sure - and it would be great if Medela added a little flap to cover the holes and prevent any leaks.

Such a handy accessory!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breastfeeding accessory. What a handy accessory for any breastfeeding mama. I was concerned that these shells would be uncomfortable to wear but was surprised that I experienced absolutely no friction pain, I even forgot I was wearing them for a while!
I took a couple of wears to get used to removing them without spilling some of my milk but once I got the hang of it, these were Invaluable.

Helped with my little freezer stash!
I was really happy to receive these collection shells through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been breastfeeding my newborn for about 7 weeks now with a lot of success but I do find that I leak when she goes awhile without eating. I used these shells in my bra between feeds and found that they do collect a lot of let down. They are a nice way to help build a small freezer stash and aren't that noticeable under loose fitting clothing. I found them quite comfortable because of the silicone backing. They are really easy to clean and sterilize because of their size and how easily they come apart. My only complaint is that you have to prep whatever your milk storage container is before you remove them from your bra as they cannot stand on there own and would spill if you put them down on a surface. If you have a lot of leakage I would recommend this product to wear between feeding.

Milk collection
Stellar product testing panel send my these milk collectors to try out and I love them! As someone who produced a lot of milk, these were a game changer! I used them to collect milk on the opposite side when nursing my newborn. It really helped me realize how much milk I was wasting! I used the collected milk for my toddler who loved it! I would definitely recommend this to any nursing mamas especially if you have a good supply. No point wasting liquid gold!

Medela Breast Milk Collection Shells great product
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breastfeeding accessory. As a first time breastfeeding mom, I am thrilled to try this product in order to help me with my milk production and overall supply.
The product comes with minimal packaging, which I love. It is also very easy to assemble/ dissemble which makes it easy to clean. The shells are super soft against the skin. I can barely feel them when I put them on. In addition, they help to relieve pressure on the nipples that are often sore/ uncomfortable.
I am surprised by how slim the cups are, which makes them extremely discrete under the nursing bra. Yet the shells have the capacity to collect a decent amount of milk. I have tried to wear then while breastfeeding (collect the leak from the other side) and also when I am not breastfeeding. When not breastfeeding, they are more than enough to collect every drop of the leak. However, I sometimes need to transfer once the milk collected during a breastfeeding session (especially in the morning when it has been more than 6 hours without breastfeeding).
The only downside of this product is that you have to transfer your milk right away once you decide to take them out. You cannot leave the shells on the table for example as they cannot stand still on a surface. This mean that you have to do a bit of planinng ahead, have your container ready before taking the shells out. However it is not a big deal once you have a routine of your own.

Must have for your breastfeeding journey!
I received this breastfeeding accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Medela breast milk collection shells have been a lifesaver for me once I started breastfeeding! Once my milk came in my milk letdown was out of control, I would always need a towel to keep my son from getting soaked while I fed him. I tried other milk collectors but found them awkward and hard to keep in place (especially since my son likes to kick his feet around while he feeds). These shells fit perfectly inside your nursing bra and can hold a good amount of milk (I think in some feeding sessions a shell would hold close to an ounce no problem). The shells also have a little opening at the top which makes it super easy to transfer milk into a bag/bottle and best of all the shells are incredibly easy to clean. My ONLY issue with these collection shells is that I wish the circular opening was a little softer/more comfortable but otherwise, I would highly recommend this product to any breastfeeding mom!

Medela Breast Milk Collection Shells - Review
Got these cute little reusable Medela Breast Milk Shells thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Here are my thoughts!
Pros:
1. Milk Saver: These things are like little superheroes for saving every precious drop of breast milk during feeds or pumping.
2. Comfy Vibes: Super soft silicone and a chill design make these shells comfy to wear all day without any weird pinching.
3. Leakage Blocker: No more milk sneaking out and making surprise appearances – these shells keep it all in check, so you're not wasting any liquid gold.
4. Easy Cleanup: Taking these apart for a quick clean is a breeze, keeping things hygienic without adding stress to your busy mom life.
5. Do-It-All: Whether you're pumping or nursing, these shells are like multitasking pros, giving you options to manage your milk game.
Cons:
1. Milk out for long: it's can be tricky to keep up with how long the milk has been out for at room temp
2. Learning Curve: It's like a puzzle figuring out the best way to wear these at first, so prepare for a little trial and error.
3. Empty Often: They're not bottomless pits, so you gotta remember to check and empty them regularly to avoid any overflow drama. This is also difficult if you have a crying bay by who needs milk right away but you have a milky shell on that needs to be removed first without leaking.
To sum it up, Medela's Breast Milk Collection Shells are legit for saving your liquid gold. They're comfy, do their job well, but just be ready for a bit of a learning curve and storage safety with them.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breastfeeding accessory.

Medela Breast Milk Collection shells
I am lucky to be given this breastfeeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
After trying the Medela Breast Milk Collection Shells for the past few weeks, I can say they are extremely comfortable and sit nicely in my nursing bra. I use the shells when I nurse on one side and wear a shell on the opposite side. Additionally I found the shells quick and easy to clean which is a plus for me.
Personally I found there was a bit of leakage if I moved around to much - I also have a toddler so breastfeeding for me this time around is a little different and I can’t always sit nice and still.
Overall, these are great and I would recommend. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing outside my home because of the leaking I personally experienced but at home they are great.

Comfortable and easy to pour
I received this breastfeeding accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I can recommend the Medela Milk Collection Shells to breastfeeding moms as a useful tool in collecting leaked baby milk.
As a mom at home with a toddler and infant who has milk supply challenges, I’m happy to wear the shells while managing two kids and to know there I’m not eating milk. I found the shells are comfortable, trap milk, and can easily pour into a milk bag when emptying. I liked how soft they were on my skin wild wearing and did not cause any irritation. However, I did find them quite bulky and would only wear them around the house. They were not discrete enough for me to wear in public.
