Has woken my baby up twice</span> <span itemprop="description">For the price, this monitor should be better. It is nice when it is working correctly. So far in the short 5 days that I have had it, I have had 2 unacceptable situations occur. It updated the firmware in the middle of the night while my baby is sleeping. This leaves him unmonitored, and me unable to hear him, and a green light flashed the entire time which woke him up. Thankfully I happened to be awake when this occurred. Support states this is how their product works and there is no way to schedule a convenient time for it to update. The second situation occurred during a nap when the sound stopped working. This required unplugging the monitor which is not feasible without waking my baby up. This again left me unable to hear him although the camera and breathing monitor were still working. This monitor which is supposed to help my baby sleep has been the cause of sleep disruptions twice in 5 days. I&rsquo;m considering returning. We were previously using a different smart monitor and a separate brand sock for our monitor/breathing tracking, but the Miku takes the place of both of these without needing to use any extra equipment which is amazing - extra peace of mind for mama. The picture quality is phenomenal in daylight or night vision, the breathing and movement tracking seem to be very accurate. There are great options for music to play in the background. You can go back and watch 'activity' from the previous night as well as analytics from the previous night which are both really cool! The app is extremely user friendly with a logical display. The miku was super easy to install and literally came with everything you&rsquo;d need to install it, even down to a tiny level and pencil. If that isn&rsquo;t attention to detail I don&rsquo;t know what is. It is clear that this company goes above and beyond for its product and customers. And it solidifies my decision on the monitor over its competitors. It always takes a few seconds to &ldquo;connect&rdquo; every time you open the app, even when it was already running in the background, the time lag is pretty significant, and most importantly the connection randomly drops all the time&mdash;sometimes as frequent as every 5 minutes. I really hope they can iron out the app because I really love everything else about the product. Another issue I experienced: the anchors for wall mount both broke when I screwed them into drywall. I use it for nap time and to monitor that she&rsquo;s still breathing so I don&rsquo;t have to go near her to check, but I wouldn&rsquo;t trust it to alert me at night at all. The app is very user friendly and intuitive. I love that the breathing monitor works without any additional wearable. We have used it to monitor our baby in a bassinet, crib and pack &amp; play both at home and traveling using the Miku stand. The crisp 1080p video &amp; night vision comes through great on the app and it seems much clearer than the Nanit and radio based monitors that our friends have when comparing side-by-side. The analytics on the app are very insightful and the activity recap is perfect to scroll through movements during the previous night. The only minor feedback that I have is that the power button is a bit bright on the lowest setting so we just put electrical tape over it. The picture quality is excellent and I love the full view of the crib. But probably my favorite feature is that this is a breathing monitor without having to set up any wearables. The product came with mounting accessories and clear instructions and looks SO NICE. Set up was so quick and easy. The step-by-step video instructions were so helpful. The video is super sharp and the added features: breathing tracking, noise machine, temperature detector, movement alarm, and two-way mic. It has everything. I'm also looking forward to being able to check in on my baby when I go back to work.
