It features three specific sounds to first calm down an upset baby (shushing noise), lull them into a calm state (heartbeat noise), and eventually keep them asleep (white noise). This portable, battery powered gadget, is a life-saver when baby is away from home, but needs to get some rest. It also features a timer, and nightlight which can even pulse in sync with the noise. <span itemprop="description">My twins have really liked this sound machine. I love that it is small, therefore portable and has sound and lights in the same machine. I like how aesthetically pleasing it is and the ease of use. I'm okay with it running 30 minutes max instead of all night because I don't want my boys to become dependent on a sleep machine in order to sleep, but it's great for cancelling out noise when we are out and about. The only thing I'd change is to add a nature sound, if possible, but that's my preference. I'm sure my boys really don't care all that much. Bottom line, I'd recommend this.</span>
