He had some difficulty holding a normal cup, but after purchasing this, he would grab the two grips and bring the cup right to his mouth. He has been getting better and better at drinking out of the cup. The trainer cup is extremely well made and durable. Our son has thrown the cup off of a high chair multiple times and the cup is still in-tact.
