It's great for a baby to grab the rings and always end up in their mouth. Just the other day the wooden ring came apart. Looks like the glue didn't hold all the layers properly. The inside edges were rough and could split off. This is a definite safety hazzard for a child. However, after she was able to hold and cuddle it, it became a bedtime buddy. This little bear is so soft and cuddly she insists on having it with her when she sleeps.
