When arrived the blanket was so soft that I was very happy; however, after the first wash (using the delicate cycle) came out hard and useless for a newborn. All the curly plush, softness, and delicate fabric that it looked like at the beginning was gone. I can't return it and now is worthless. I don't know if the care instructions said that you can wash it with cold water or using a delicate cycle why this happens. Don't recommend it at all unless you are not planning to wash it.
