This morning while trying to get my son dressed I pulled the knob and the whole drawer front fell off and smashed my toe. This product should be recalled. I can't imagine if it was a child that the drawer fell on. I would also like to add this was not even a piece that we put together this is a manufacturer piece that fell apart. Do not buy! We took the dresser out of the box today to put it together, which was not hard to do, but we became increasingly more unimpressed with it as we worked 1) minor issue: the backing does not match the dresser. The dresser color is &quot;Acorn&quot; and instead of coming with maybe a black or white backing.. it came with a red, cherry colored backing. The same color is what lines the bottom of the drawers, which just doesn't make sense. 2) the backing of one of the drawers was bowed into a slight C. We just continued working assuming these were all minor things. 3) we placed the topper on the dresser and there was a giant nick taken off the front corner. You cannot flip this around as one side is flat for the wall.. 4) about 3 of the drawer facings had nicks, scratches, or were actually cracked. 5) once the drawers were slid into place, all six didn't even line up. They are way off on the top, the middles are off slightly, the bottoms are off on an angle 6) the bottom right drawer didn't close all the way. It went in on the left side, and slightly stuck out on the far right. My husband is incredibly handy, he built our home and some handmade furniture, this was a very easy project for him to put together and he followed all instructions, the problem was the product. I'm more upset because my baby is due so soon and we thought we could start putting her things away today.
