My son has a clean place to be laid down while his siblings can look on and play with him but in a few months he will be able to use this same toy to crawl through and grab his own toys. The toys did not come off of the activity bar easily so while be bats at them I don't have any worry of them flying off and hitting him in the face. I think the Velcro that holds the sides up when you want to make it a ball pit was strong but will not hold much once he is a true mover. The little tummy time mat pillow is a nice small size and could even be thrown in the diaper bag and brought with us on the go. The plastic balls are the perfect bright colors. She loves the mini pillow for just laying on. Just always wants to hold it. The panda is the next favorite . we have a lot of panda toys and clothes so it just worked out perfectly. Easy to assemble and put away. Doesnt take up much space.
