Good fit for kid just over 40 lbs
My son is just over 40 lbs, turns 6 this year, and it’s a great fit for him. He likes having the cup holders close, and can unbuckle himself. He looks comfortable in it too even if it’s not in a recline position. We’ve used Peg since he was born, and all our other kids have Peg seats, too. Love this company!

Peg perego booster seat
Super comfy, I love the extended pads around the head. My daughter loves the seat and has fallen asleep in it numerous times and never hunches forward. Cleans nicely and is super easy to take in and out of the car. Only downfall is the seat belt sometimes pops out of the holder above the shoulder easily, like if she leans forward to try and open the window.

Overall great product
We have enjoyed the Peg-Perego car seats to date and now our son is big enough for the HBB 120. I like that it has the latch connections, just seems to keep the seat snugly fit into the car at all times. The HBB 120 fits nicely in my wife's Equinox and in my F150. In the F150 I took out the head rest otherwise the back was pushed too far forward. I found in both vehicles that once you pull the latch straps tight, the HBB 120 seat back is pushed to a more vertical position instead of lying back on the seat of the car. In my wife's Equinox, this doesn't seem to be a big deal, once my son gets in and we buckle him in, the HBB 120 sits nicely in the car and he is comfortable (and is happy to fall asleep on longer trips). In my F150, I put a towel behind the base of the HBB 120 to push it forward a little bit allowing the HBB 120 to conform to the angle of the back seat.
Once the shoulder belt is tucked into position in the HBB 120 it too tight and the retraction mechanism of the car is not strong enough to pull in the slack. This means when my son gets out of the car, the seat belt is left dangling loose. Also if he gets too silly in the car some slack will build up (although he has already figured out how to reach up and pull it tight again. Anyway, just not sure if this is by design or do to the way it fits in the car or something to be improved.
Overall great seat, we had one and just bought a second. That said, there are some nice options from Evenflo and they are much cheaper, the grandparents have a few of them and they seem just as comfortable for the kids. The HBB 120 does hold the seat belt more conveniently and consistently across the lap and more securely across the shoulder than the Evenflo.

Almost perfect
I really like almost everything about this booster. My 6 year old is petite and the contouring and shape fit her body well to hold her in the correct position for the seatbelt. It was very easy to assemble and is a good solid weight. It latches easily into the D rings to stay in place. However, and perhaps it is just in my vehicle (Honda Odyssey), but when I feed the seatbelt through the belt holder above by daughter's right shoulder it gets stuck. The seatbelt won't retract properly back into the car to tighten around her. Someone has to manually pull the seatbelt from behind to tighten in. Not usually a big issue for us since her older sister sits in the row behind her and helps, but it's annoying that it isn't a "self serve" booster. We own other high back boosters from Diono with a similar design that don't do this?
