<span itemprop="description">I relied on Penaten in a tin with my furst baby 5 years ago - it would clear any diaper rash in a short time. But I bought some recently for my new baby and it's awful - grainy runny texture and appears almost moldy. The worst part is that IT NO LONGER WORKS. What a pity. Please switch back to the original formula. I won't be buying or recommending again.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When we opened our new tin about a week ago, we just assumed maybe we had purchased a bad batch, or the tin hadn't been stored properly. When I popped onto the website to see if there was somewhere I could do a product complaint… I noticed all the other reviews about the formula for the cream changing. As others have stated, it is now grainy and not nearly as thick. We have been using it for a few days to treat a diaper rash on our baby, and it has not helped at all. We have gone ahead and purchased a competitor product to solve our baby diaper rash. Moving forward, we will not purchase this product anymore… Which is really a shame because previously we found it to be our go to product that worked. We now have two tins we will not be able to use, and I can't imagine anyone is going to reimburse me the cost.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have used this for many, many years. I am incredibly disappointed with the new formula as I am allergic to it! I have sensitive skin and contact dermatitis. The original Penaten formula was a lifesaver to help me get through flare ups. Unfortunately, the new formula has a strong perfume smell, is thinner and chunky. The most important thing is that it actually caused my skin to become irritated. Not sure if its the perfume in it. But now I don't know what to use.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Been using Penaten for 50+ years. New watery gritty formula is quite inferior. Stores put them on their shelves on their side, so cream Collects against one side then other side gets dried out. Watery gritty formula does not go on as well and is nowhere near as effective. Very disappointed. Time to stop recommending it and find a new cream.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was very excited to use peneten on my newborn but when I opened the small tin (which was very difficult do) and pulled back the foil covering, I nearly spilled it. Eager to help relieve my baby's rash I proceeded to use it but was shocked to find that it has a very very grainy texture which must not be comfortable on my baby's sensitive skin in their most sensitive place. Do not recommend and will continue to be a long time sudocreme user instead. Very disappointed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Ive known about penaten for over 30 years since I had younger siblings. 9 yrs ago I became a parent and penaten was my diaper cream of choice for my child. My child has severe medical issues so will likely need to remain in diapers forever. I've been using penaten on them since newborn age. It's always been a reliable product, and I never had any complaints.
Lately the formula has changed. It's gritty/lumpy, and a very off-putting greyish colour. It's also more runny than it ever used to be. It does not stay on my child's skin like the old formula did. It mostly gets absorbed by the diaper, making it useless. My child is getting rashes now when they've never been an issue for the past 9 years. The rashes are due to this new formula. Sadly after being a loyal customer for a very long time, I have no choice but to switch brands. Please bring back the true original formula. That stuff was appreciated by parents for decades, there was no need to change it as it worked perfectly before. This new formula is awful.</span>
