I really like the pump but I am so frustrated that the suction has gone down and the only option to purchase additional membranes is to purchase an entire new set of connectors. It&rsquo;s wasteful and expensive if these need to be replaced regularly to keep up with suction. I am so disappointed and wish I had known this before purchasing as it would have discouraged me from purchasing the freestyle flex pump. When I wash my pump parts as per the directions, I have difficulty getting both sides to seal afterwards. I give 2 stars because it works well for the first month or so after purchasing new connectors, but then declines in function. I agree with other reviewers, I wish the membrane was sold separately and that it adhered better to create a better seal. I have pump 2 times per day for 7 months and am purchasing my 4th-5th set. I have been using this pump with these connectors and I am very disappointed that amount of milk pumped has decreased. I am also disappointed that when the membranes go bad, which results in less milk expression, can't be covered by tricare because the entire connector needs to be replaced. I am now stuck with a pump that I am unable to get supplies for that my insurance would normally cover otherwise.
