Appropriate for babies at least 1 month old, these dual-hole nipples offer a slow flow. The nipple is made of flavorless, odorless silicone that resists discoloring and stickiness. The nipple's soft, rounded shape promotes feeding for babies who nurse from both the breast and a bottle. The Anti-colic baby bottle BPA Free nipples are dishwasher safe and can be sterilized by boiling for five minutes or by using a Philips Avent steam sterilizer. We recommend to use the Anti-colic baby bottle nipples with the Anti-colic baby bottle or Classic+ bottles. Philips Avent Classic+ and Anti-colic bottles and nipples are interchangeable. One reason being was because I received the product as a free sample to try out and second is because I already used the Philips Avent Natural bottles in both the 4oz. and 9oz. and never thought to buy the Classic line for her because she is also a breastfed baby. But when I gave her a feeding using this nipple she took it very well. We also didn't experience any leaks with this nipple, and I'd give it 3 thumbs up!! So because she likes it...I LOVE IT</span>

<span itemprop="description">I am a mother of two girls...6 years apart. I used Avent bottles/nipples with my first daughter and loved them so naturally I came back to Avent with my second daughter. I noticed Avent has a new air ring that is placed on the top of the bottle before screwing on the nipple. You must use this ring or the bottle will leak. The ring allows air to enter in the bottle and not the babies tummy. I also noticed that when my husband makes the bottles he screws the nipple on to tight which then blocks the air from entering the bottle. Now that I have figure everything out again I really love this nipple!!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We love the Avent bottle/nipple now, it is easy to use and all parts can stand boiling water and our 10 mo. old loves it as well. However, when our little one was new born the nipple was too long for her tiny mouth and seemed to make her gas worse every time she "clicked" the nipple while sucking. I would not recommend this nipple for the colicky baby. As she grew and her mouth became a bit bigger and the gas eased up she was able to use this bottle comfortably.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Used this along with Avent bottles when I had problems breastfeeding alone when my baby was 1 month old. Now I am breastfeeding and using around 3 bottles a day. Don't have any problems with colic either. I think Avent products are very user friendly and reasonably priced compared to the alternatives.</span>
