Love it. 1 major issue- which if we had checked the underside could have been prevented I think -but possibly not. Things I love: &bull; Style, &bull; Uses kitchen trash bags and not the expensive diaper liners &bull; The colors &bull; How much it holds! Seriously! This thing holds so much and I always empty it at halfway otherwise it gets to heavy. Again, people who are complaining about having to leave space for the flapping door to open, it's common sense that is needed to function. When the trashcan is closed, I can't smell a thing in the room it stays in (which after 3 years of use is in our kitchen for dog poo bags). There is an oder when you open the first chamber to put a diaper in, but it's quick to put something in and close it. Don't leave that door open (common sense). After 2 years of use, the auto-locking feature broke, so we have to manually lock it each time now (annoying, but it's not hard to do). Needs design improvement in this area: &bull; Autolocking latch needs to be looked at from a durability standpoint. If we can get the diapers to finally go down once the bin is half way full no more can go in it because the drop door starts to get stuck! We had a small nursery and I needed a compact pail that fit in the very narrow space between the changing station and the wall. I haven't had a single issue with smells - in fact, when we moved last month, the pail was inadvertently put into storage with a nearly-full bag of diapers. It was in there for two weeks and there was absolutely no smell. I didn't even know there were diapers in it till I went to put a new diaper in it and saw them! The storage caddy is helpful, if slightly inconvenient to have to remove when it's time to change the bag. The only significant downside is that there is some wasted space in the bag because there has to be room for the second airlock door to drop down. It works well and does a good job of keeping odors locked away inside (just hold your breath for a few seconds when you &ldquo;flush&rdquo; the diaper down). We got another pail for our second child and that one stopped latching for some reason after a week&hellip; very annoying. After a waiting few weeks, customer service got back to me and did issue a credit for a new pail. This one is working better but the part that drops the diapers doesn&rsquo;t go all the way perpendicular so sometimes the diaper gets stuck there. I found if I hold the button down it is more likely to drop on down and the times I have to open it up to manually push the diaper through are few and far between. So&hellip; I guess I&rsquo;d still recommend this pail, but be aware you may encounter technical difficulties. In general we have to empty the pail about once a week. Sometimes after 5-6 days. I love that it can use regular trash bags, it doesn't seem to have problems with condensation like a other brands I looked at and I like the idea of the air lock. I'm thinking I may have issues with the latch that let's the diapers drop down as it doesn't open very wide at all which may be annoying once baby is using bigger diapers. I have ready in other reviews that some people have been able to fix that problem. Still waiting on my reimbursement actually. But I went to a third party store and bought a new one in box, even opened it and checked it out and everything was good. My son isn&rsquo;t born yet but upon reading other comments and doing some scent tests at home I could see why bigger diapers probably don&rsquo;t go down the Shute. That said I think it&rsquo;s an okay product it looks really nice, when it does work as intended it&rsquo;s great and it&rsquo;s light enough to carry easily. I also really like the storage tray I keep things inside of it ranging from disposal bags for diapers to cleaning wipes to wipe down the product. It&rsquo;s fairly important id say to anyone buying this that it is a trash can for poop and in that you do have to change the liner. I don&rsquo;t think there&rsquo;s any product on the market that will make poop not smell bad or not be poop. We put a air freshener pod in ours and the scent issue wasn&rsquo;t an issue for us. I would recommend it but hopefully the company doesn&rsquo;t mess up your shipping like me.
