I had no issue fitting it over our outdated spout. The bubble dispenser feature if super fun when our little guys asks for bubbles almost every bath. With a toddler who cant sit still for even bathing, we love that this adds protection from bonking his head too hard. It protects little noggins from getting bumped. I love that it has a spot for pouring in bubble bath. I like how it is silicone and provides a softer barrier if a child were to get too close to the spout. It says it also has a built in bubble bath dispenser, which is really just a front part with a tiny hole so that the bubble bath trickles out. It definitely does not bubble up in the front compartment, especially since water cannot even get to it, so the photos on the box are misleading, but it does conitknuing adding soap to the water throughout the bath.
