Wow. Desk could be a bit more solid in the way it's built, but almost equally as sturdy. There were also some gaps here and there that couldnt be closed but minor gaps. There is now over 6 holes in the desk and it looks terrible! There were no warnings to indicate you shouldn't overtighten the screws. When putting together over half the screws and pieces were broken or completely stripped. I was able to put it together with wood screws and glue and it is pretty sturdy. But I had to screw through the top of the desk --- and put contact paper over. It looks good from afar, and my daughter does love it.
