<span itemprop="description">This gate has been nothing but frustrating. We don’t even close it half the time because opening and closing it is nothing but a pain. The gate doesn’t slide smoothly. The banister attachment doesn’t not secure well and therefore moves. If the straps loosen or move the slightest bit (which they do everytime you touch the gate, no matter how tight the straps are) it is very difficult to open or close the gate. Would not recommend this gate. Unfortunately we are going to have to purchase another gate after only a months use.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Beautiful, not so hard to install, easy to use, BUT the wood is not of high quality, we broke two! The wood where the screw goes in keeps cracking.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Installed this in November 2014 for our first kid and used it through our second kid. Straps never came loose once in 8 years. Highly recommend this gate for the price. If the straps do come loose, you can screw it in instead.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Very sturdy and nice looking gate. Disappointed in the hardware as the handle didn’t line up properly so had to be used without. So not sure why they used dark brown for the hardware white would have matched walls better. Over all worth the money spent.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Purchased in November 2021, actually installed in January 2022 when it was needed. Within a month, one of the zap strap locking mechanisms that holds the gate in place with the bannister pole stopped working/ locking. This malfunction makes the gate useless.
Contacted company who advised they were unable to assist because I was past the 90 day mark from purchase?!?.
Don't waste your money on this garbage gate. You will be better off buying a cheaper gate</span>

<span itemprop="description">Gate is decent quality but won't work if you want to install it where you have trim as the instructions say to install the bracket floor level.</span>

<span itemprop="description">In order to ensure you can open the gate easily, make sure the bottom stabilizer is not completely touching the ground. Once we figured that out, it has been very easy to use.</span>
