I bought one for my first child 6 years ago and it lasted me years. I had read the reviews before buying but I’d hoped they were wrong. I’m very disappointed</span>

I got it as a gift for my baby shower and I am desperately trying to have the person find their receipt so I can take it back. 1. The picture quality is terrible whether you adjust the brightness or not. 2. I’m not that far away from babies room and the monitor keeps beeping to indicate the camera disconnected. 3. Everything is delayed 4. Battery doesn’t last that long
Just don’t waste your money, as a first time mom I want to be able to see my daughters face… I most certainly can not here. I don’t typically post pictures of my daughter online no matter what but with this review I can cause you absolutely can not even see her.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I wish we did not purchase this monitor. Like anyone preparing for a baby, we bought a monitor long before having our child (in preparation). Once we started using the monitor we quickly realized it has a terrible quality video, and it is even worse at night. If we unplug the monitor, there is a chance the screen will then show horizontal lines and you cannot use the monitor until it is fixed. We have to jiggle the cord and hope for the best. Do not buy this monitor.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Don’t waste your money on electronics from Summer Infant!! They are horrible quality made to last the 12 months they’re covered under warranty and then break down. It won’t even last you through your first child!! The company discontinues their products so customers will have to repurchase an entire system and doesn’t have the option to buy a replacement part. Customer service was horrible for me, telling me there was nothing they could do for my product that still has sound and video but won’t show video when the camera is connected. Ridiculous. They couldnt even offer me a discount code for purchasing another product from them. I bought their monitor based on a recommendation from the BuyBuyBaby registry consultant helping me but wish I’d gone with a brand I knew actually had my best interest in mind and wasn’t just looking for a quick $200+ profit.</span>

Reception is decent
Picture is ok does the job
Easy to operate
Pretty straight forward and not wifi which i like for several reasons
BUT
You need to replace the battery at least once a year which you can only purchase over the phone from the company
After another year the charging input doesn’t work for new charger new battery but the part that plugs in no longer works
So over all maybe start with something g else so your not hooked buying parts and peices u til it’s just not worth it anymore</span>

The Panorama Digital Color Video Monitor has a power save mode feature to help conserve battery life by automatically turning off the screen when the handheld is not plugged into an A/C adapter. The audio feature will remain activated but you will need to press the VIDEO button if you would like to view the screen display. The power save mode cannot be disabled.

The Panorama Digital Color Video Monitor does not offer a split screen feature. It allows you to select the camera you would like to view or you can use the auto-scan feature that will scan between each camera every 8 seconds.
