<span itemprop="description">The rail works well. Converted our 21 month old's crib to a daybed and used this rail to keep her in. She used to toss and turn all over in her sleep sac and I was worried she'd do the same with a blanket and fall out of bed. So far (about a month) she has slept very well, stays straight and the rail hasn't budged. I've seen her on the monitor stand up and hold onto it, pull on it back and forth and it has play but holds her in well. Very strong. One annoyance is the mechanism used to fold the front down is difficult to operate. Both sides have to slide up together in order for it to fold down and they're strong so it makes it difficult to reach and do both together. It is safe, so I can deal with that. The crib has wooden slats under the mattress and the adjustable straps that hold it work just fine and lock in place. I'm happy with our choice.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I like the Toys R Us brand one much better! Although it obviously works...This one is too difficult to get down. Wish I would have exchanged it right away but unfortunately I would've had to wait a few more days to re-order a new one and we needed it that day.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We've used this on our convertible crib, set up as a toddler daybed. While it's designed for a mattress and box spring, it was possible to hook the straps under the mattress frame to secure the bed rail. So far our 12 month old seems pretty happy with it. She doesn't stand up in bed like she did with the crib setup. She can see easily through the mesh.</span>
