My sons both love it. One is 1 and the other is 3 years old. They love musical toys, so this is a great toy for them. It's really nice and can keep baby busy for a while. It mimics the guitar. It's really cool how you can use it as a guitar. At first I didn't realized it worked as a guitar. When I realized it I even had fun using it. This is also a great gift for nieces or nephews. What's really cool about the Tiny Rocker is its ability to play guitar notes simply by touching or tapping on the yellow silicone notes. The notes ring out with a clarity that's surprisingly close to the real deal, adding an element of authenticity to playtime, though I do believe there is room for improvement. Additionally, the option to play pre-recorded music adds variety and excitement to the experience. However, while I found the concept of the Tiny Rocker to be engaging and innovative for a little one, my 15-month-old toddler didn't seem as captivated by it as I had hoped. Initially, upon introducing the toy to him, he showed interest for about an hour, tapping away at the notes with curiosity. But, his interest tapered off quickly thereafter. Reflecting on his age and developmental stage, it became apparent that the lack of engagement might stem from his inability to grasp the purpose and functionality of the toy fully. At 15 months, he's still in the early stages of understanding cause and effect, which might explain why the Tiny Rocker didn't hold his attention for long. One aspect I believe could enhance the toy's appeal to younger children is a more vibrant and colorful design. Bright colors tend to attract and engage toddlers more effectively, enticing them to explore and interact with the toy for longer durations. While the Tiny Rocker by Little Love boasts impressive musical features and an innovative design, its appeal might be limited for very young children like mine who are still in the early stages of cognitive development. This toy seems to be a bit of a learning curve on how to strum and make it play what my little guy wanted to. At first he would open hand hit the &quot;strings&quot;. He now tries to hit the different strings. He does love the music it plays when on the music mode. This toy does a great job at keeping my son engaged. During his strum-struggle, he seemed to move on quick from this toy. Once he realized the way to make the music; he would engage in play until it sings all the different songs. This device design is great; we like the hand holds on this toy. It is easy to carry and take in the car on a trip! It is very easy to clean and the speaker grill has wiped off easily. The rubber strings were easy to strum and my son did pick up after some time. I really like to mobility and flexibility of this toy to be a music making or playing toy. It is perfect for kids around my son's age of 1. The switches were easy to press and automatically play the new songs. I think if it had additional buttons and the long handle the guitar would be easier to hold. My daughter is 13 months old and sometimes drops it because she can't hold and push the buttons at the same time but overall she enjoys it. They have both had so much fun with this (ages 1.5 and 3.5) and I love that it is introducing them to music in a fun way. There are 3 different levels of sound and the loudest one isn't very loud which is GREAT for me as I am easily overstimulated as many parents can probably relate. I even let them play in the car and it doesn't bother me at all. The music and notes are pleasant and not obnoxious. Additionally, it has a super cute look, no bright colors. It feels very high quality and sturdy/well made. My kids are not easy on their toys but it seems pretty durable. Overall I highly recommend! I was excited for him to learn that they made different sounds. He engaged more with the buttons at first , and now he's touching the (strings) more , because he's learned that they make different noises. It did take him awhile to utilize the strings he really loved the buttons . I thought that the design was very retro and idealistic for a baby , and the size was perfect for my son to carry around in his tiny hand and to put in his diaper bag.I loved how they made the guitar strings (touch) instead of using actual strings , it was very intuitive. Gave it 4 stars because I just wish it was another button or something else thing he could play with on the toy. It is an adorable little guitar, and my baby loves it. She is a little over 1 years old, and the perfect age to play with this. I love that she can run around holding it, and dance with it, and even when she dropped it (or threw it!) it did not break or even stop playing the music. It's cute that she can pretend to play guitar, when she taps the &quot;strings&quot;, music plays. The design is really nice and modern, and it fits right in to the rest of her monotone colored toys. I would definitely reccommend this to a friend! I am giving 4 stars only because it didn't keep her entertained for long stretches, since it only plays a few songs, so after a bit she got bored and put it down. Out of the box, I liked the look and feel of the toy. It seemed like it would hold up to the inevitable toddler drops, throws, and general roughhousing. The colors were a bit more muted than a typical toddler toy which was nice. It was simple to operate and was very intuitive. Overall, I wouldn't say this toy kept my kids' interest for long enough. They'd play with it for a few minutes and move on to something else. In fact after a week of leaving it in plain sight in our typical play areas, it was only used a handful of times. It being new did peak a little interest initially but I'm not sure if it will be a fan fav for the long haul. On a positive note, the kind of steering wheel design made it very easy for my little one to hold on to it. And, although I thought the strumming area seemed a little stiff, you can kind of just hit it to make it play, which is great for little hands learning motor skills. My favorite thing about this toy was the atypical music selection. It wasn't the same lullabies and songs you generally hear.
