There is an option to connect it to your phone, but you need a qr code which you can only see if your screen works, so can't connect it to my phone either! Called costumer service, no response! Speaker blew in screen within two months of use, no longer picks up noise unless you turn it on to check yourself then alerts stop. Will attempt to contact VTech but don&rsquo;t have high hopes. I am able to access on my phone and monitor while at work. My wife can safely leave my daughter in her room while cooking without loosing sight. It also plays soothing sounds, my kids are older but this would have been nice to have when they were babies. The set up was really easy and connecting to my phone with the app was a breeze. The camera has wide angle viewing. The app lets you view your little one from home or remotely from your smart device. The built in night light, soothing sounds, and lullabies are great additional bonuses of this monitor. I absolutely love the temperature sensor feature. It lets you know if the room too cold or hot with an alert so you can make changes to the thermostat. The high definition video is very clear when viewing.
