<span itemprop="description">Overall like this baby monitor. Like the sound alert and room temperature display on the LCD screen. Main complaint is picture clarity. Always pixilated and unable to determine if soother has fallen out of baby's mouth. LCD only charges while turned on whicj is annoying in the middle of the night when baby cries and the screen lights up, beeps the alert and then echoes with baby's cry. For the price you dont get the quality you would think. Would not buy again.</span>

The physical monitor is so large and heavy. It’s about the size of an iPad mini. This monitor offers many features like a night light, sound machine and large clear screen but the battery life is terrible and the night vision camera is also not good. The monitor also takes a while to respond when you wake up the screen. The app is nice to have but once again the camera lacks a good view when the room is really dark.</span>

One of the standout features of this monitoring system is its impressive 7" screen. I have a one story house and the range works from both far ends of the house. The video quality is sharp and clear, and both the app and the monitor allow for zooming in without losing any detail.
I appreciate the ability to tilt and pan the camera, which lets me see every corner of the room as needed. Initially, I experienced some connection issues, but it is now functioning. During the day, I prefer using the app since my phone is always close at hand, making it convenient for on-the-go access. However, at night, I switch to the monitor because it’s easier to use for our nighttime routine. One of the features I lenjoy is the two-way talk function. While we don’t really need the temperature and motion alerts for our toddler, I think they would be beneficial for a newborn. My toddler especially enjoys the nightlight feature, which can be activated through the app, the monitor, or directly on the camera with different color options.
This system is packed with useful features, and while it works well for our toddler, I feel it would be even more advantageous for an infant, given its focus on child safety. I would definitely recommend this baby monitor to anyone looking for remote access capabilities.</span>

Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use, the battery life doesn’t seem great and the camera gets disconnected from the monitor. I have had to reset it several times. Couldn't have been easier to set up and get started. High quality wall mount is included but we chose to sit on baby girls shelf so we could easily move if wanted and get more use out of the night light feature. She's really been loving all the fun night light colors. Baby girl takes 2 naps daily and sleeps in her nursery through the night. This video monitor has given us so much peace of mind through those sleep times and has saved us so many times from unnecessary wake ups, checking in on her. We have black out curtains in her room so even during the day, it is pitch black. The automatic night vision feature has saved us here. Crystal clear imaging without the need to turn on any lights at all. The range of motion, video and sound quality are unbelievable. Love that we can rotate the camera to view her whole room and zoom in on her when needed. The sound quality is so clear you can hear the crib sheet rustling, even when she makes the smallest movement. She cries for us as soon as she wakes up. The crying would continue until we came and got her but now, one of us just says "we're coming sweetie" and she immediately hears us through the camera and stops. The 7" parent unit is great for everyone in the house to be able to see baby. Since our phones come everywhere we go, we mostly listen and view using the app. I've really loved having the app when I'm at work so I can still peek in on baby throughout the day. Very convenient that the battery lasts a long time. With 12 hours of video steaming, it allows us to get through the 2 naps and nightly sleep with battery life left to spare. Vtech really thought of everything when they made this video monitor. It's so nice to finally have a monitor that is just as great for the parents as it is for baby. This will definitely be my go to baby shower gift!</span>

I like that it tells the room temp and has an integrated night light. The monitor that comes with it is very good size screen. I wish it was touch screen though, I feel like with the times it doesn’t make sense to not have touch screen. Also, the video quality on the monitor is much lower than the quality on the app. That being said, it is very nice to be able to have both. Another thing that I wish it had was Alexa integrated, I feel like it would be much easier to talk to the device and it is confusing because it seems like it will be able to connect to Alexa but I have not figured it out yet. Overall it is a good device but has limits and could definitely be better</span>

The 7-inch LED screen with 720p HD resolution provides clear, sharp images, allowing me to easily see even the smallest movements. One of the standout features is the wide connectivity range, which enables me to move around the house without worrying about losing signal. Additionally, with Wi-Fi connectivity, I can access the monitor via my smartphone, which is incredibly convenient when I’m away from home. The battery life is also impressive, lasting several hours on a full charge, making it perfect for overnight monitoring.
The sound quality is clear and sensitive, allowing me to hear even the quietest sounds from my baby, and the two-way talk feature lets me soothe my baby from afar. I like the ability to view the monitor on the app or on the actual display itself. It has a long battery life and good range. <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is awesome. I love that you can connect it to wifi and use the app on your phone to view the video. You don't need the monitor at all. Nowadays we all have smartphones on us all the time so this makes it convenient. Video quality is clear and audio quality is great. Definitely recommend this product to all parents. We tested this on our 1yr old and love it. Not to mention it has a night light built into the camera. Battery lasted about 6-8hrs for the monitor but like I said that you can use your smartphone and view some anywhere as long as you have it connected to your wifi.</span>

The VTech RM7766 camera can be wall mounted or place on a dresser or table. Keep the baby unit out of the reach of your baby. Never place or mount the baby unit inside the baby&rsquo;s crib or playpen.
