The monitor has a line that cuts through the picture. The monitor does not register one camera&rsquo;s noise nor sound, regardless of changes made to the settings or how close the camera is to the movement/noise. The other camera registers, however the sound echoes a lot, so it is hard to ignore the quieter grunts. Attempted to call VTech for assistance / warranty and the automatic message said they were closed, even though I called during their listed business hours. Disappointed in the product and the customer service. It picks up everything so you can use it to monitor outside the room volume levels. That's it! The video is only ever clear..... or what appears to be like an old tube television set, when the room is lit. The night vision/ mode is the worst. It's like watching Blair Witch Project.... seriously! Fuzzy and blurry images Another down fall is the proximity to your child for the camera to actually be able to use the zoom Again, during the day or in a well lit room...... don't know the good of that when a baby needs sleep and the room is lit But three camera had to be minimum 8 feet away or if you're baby moves during sleeps, your baby will move out of range for visibility. It&rsquo;s literally 3 weeks old and it&rsquo;s garbage now. Called vtech and it&rsquo;s been difficult to try them on the phone for the warranty. We&rsquo;ve recommended this product to so many others having babies and we wish we didn&rsquo;t. You choose on the Parent Unit one of 3 viewing modes: Single Camera View, Split Screen View, or Patrol Mode. Single camera shows the video/audio from only one of the cameras, the one you choose. Split screen shows the video from BOTH camera&#39;s side by side, but the Audio from only one of them, the one that triggers first, and will be denoted by a box around which image the sound is coming from.
