<span itemprop="description">I've bought this monitor set twice now and here's even after a repurchase I would never buy again. After my toddler threw the first monitor into her water table and fried it I went out and bought it again - decision fatigue and being a new mom made the search for a new set daunting so I just hit repurchase. Bad idea. First off, why I can't buy pieces separately is beyond me. I have 2 working cameras and just need a replacement monitor. Nope. Need to buy the entire set again.
Other than that here are the other reasons it gets 2 stars:
- VERY zoomed in. The opposite of a fish eye lens. I have to mount the camera practically at ceiling heights (and we have high ceilings) in order to capture the entire bed. I honestly thought all cameras were like this since it was the first one we purchased but after some research - nope! If you have a small room for your kiddos you'll end up always cutting off one section of their crib/bed or another.
- Less than mediocre picture quality. I don't need it to be excellent but wow it really hits bare minimum.
- I bought this set with 2 cameras knowing we would be trying for another baby and thought splurging for 2 cameras instead of 1 would mean less purchases down the road. Nope again. The camera we had setup in my toddler's room started not picking up on her cries after just 1 year of use. So now I'm using the backup camera which I intended on using for our new baby who's due any day now.
- Okay range. Nothing to phone home about.
- Get's 2 stars instead of 1 simply because the battery life was actually decent. Would last all day out in our living room after plugged in all night by our bed.
My recommendation: Spend the extra $50 on a monitor set. The extra bit gets you fish eye, wifi capabilities if you want, a much clearer picture, and use beyond just 1 year.</span>

The monitor does not register one camera’s noise nor sound, regardless of changes made to the settings or how close the camera is to the movement/noise. The other camera registers, however the sound echoes a lot, so it is hard to ignore the quieter grunts. Attempted to call VTech for assistance / warranty and the automatic message said they were closed, even though I called during their listed business hours. Disappointed in the product and the customer service. Would not recommend.</span>

The night vision/ mode is the worst.

Another down fall is the proximity to your child for the camera to actually be able to use the zoom
Again, during the day or in a well lit room...... don't know the good of that when a baby needs sleep and the room is lit
But three camera had to be minimum 8 feet away or if you're baby moves during sleeps, your baby will move out of range for visibility.

On this model, the mounting holes are molded directly into the bottom of the camera's plastic base, so no wall brackets are needed. You will however need to provide your own screws, as this model does not include the drywall screws or anchors.

I am sorry, this model was paired at the factory, and we do not sell just the camera's alone. Did you try to clean the lens with a microfiber cloth, NO SOLVENTS OR SOLUTIONS? Also, try to swap the 2 cameras, but leave the A/C power cords where they are. If the blur switches cameras, it could be the A/C adapter, or even the wall plug, try a different wall socket. Last option to try, there is a reset on the bottom of the camera, and another on the back of the parent unit, behind the antenna. You will need a thin piece of metal, like a paperclip, and press in the hole to initiate a reset to factory settings. But seeing how there is a video stream already (just blurry), my first guess is physical damage or obstruction on the lens.

Congratulations on Twins! Unfortunately, this is a 2 camera bundle, and cannot be expanded further. What you want is either the VM352 series (which can support up to 4 cameras on the parent unit), or you want our RM series. The RM series parent unit will only support the camera's that ship with it in the box, but there is a work around. Since the RM series allows you to download a free App to view the cameras over WiFi for Free on your smart device (phone, laptop, tablet, etc) you can exceed this limit, as the App allows you to pair camera's from different bundles into the same internet account (max 8). So I recommend you go WiFi to exceed the 2 limit, if you need more coverage then 2 camera's can provide.

It sounds like you have Sound Activation Mode enabled. Menu &quot;scroll down&quot;&gt;Sound-Activated Screen &quot;Press Select&quot;&gt;Select ON or OFF. You have a second way you can modify this, you have 5 levels of sound activation, if you select the HIGHEST setting, it's often the case the screen stays on continuously as even low noises keep resetting the 50 second timer. When testing Sound Activation, remember it takes 50 seconds of no sound for the screen to turn off, so always wait 50+ seconds after each change to see the effect.

Lullabies (and soothing sounds) can be set to ON or OFF, as well as set with a timer for 15/30/45/60 minutes. All this is done from the parent unit menu when activating the lullabies (or soothing sounds).
