<span itemprop="description">I bought this a month ago and it was amazing. Could run well without charger attached, or with. Had a light, lots of sound options, and was quiet loud. The tail seemed gimmicky at first but actually proved to be quite useful.
The downside is, we've used it for naps and bedtimes for one month and now it no longer holds a charge for more than 6, maybe 8, hours. I will have it plugged in all day, remove it at bedtime at 8 pm to be closer to my baby's bed, and by 3 am it's off and dead.
My remedy will be to buy a new cord to keep it plugged in permanently (the one it comes with is SO unbelievably short) so it can be plugged in at all times. Otherwise we will have to retire it and buy something new.
Terrible battery for the price, do not recommend.</span>

There is no timer, it stays on until you shut it off. We leave ours on all night (it needs to be plugged in, the battery will not last all night)
