The car was totaled and my knee got pretty banged up, tearing my ACL. My son obviously scared and cried for a while but he did not have a single scratch or bruise on him. I have no doubt that was thanks to this carseat! I was so impressed and grateful I bought the exact same one to replace the one in the accident. I recommend this carseat 100% again and again! You can see the date of manufacture when you make a purchase at a local retailer, we put a sticker on the outside of the box that will give you this information.
